So today my acting teacher was saying how Heath Ledger probably committed suicide because when he took on the role of the Joker he may have uncovered something dark in himself that he couldn't deal with because he wasn't a trained actor.

Kind of like when Daniel Day-Lewis was playing Hamlet and he believed the role so much he looked up and saw the ghost of his actual father and had to be hospitalized.

I think we should be glad that there's someone out there that devoted to their job. no one seems to take pride in their work anymore and that's what I find pathetic.

Heath really did put himself into roles, whether I was a fan or not (yet to be determined to be honest). He took time off and only selected **** when he was hungry for it.
