Good. I live in the East Midlands in a town called Loughborough, near Leicester, but i went to Urbis once to see this chick called Kath, and i felt physicallt sick. I was probably the only person there wearing male trousers.

Untitled 09-04-2005 10:44 AM
wtf is urbis
The urbis is a museum type thing, but out side theres this huge lot of grass all the scene kids hang out on.

Arucard 09-04-2005 10:45 AM

So, on the topic of Pop-Punk, who like 88 Fingers Louie?

ChodaBoy 09-04-2005 10:46 AM

We have to go sit on the grass. And talk about depression and how the world is over bearing.

Then sing Shout by Lulu

guns_of_brixton 09-04-2005 10:47 AM

I've never heard their music .

I do. I don't see them as pop-punk though.

Arucard 09-04-2005 11:05 AM

Yes, yes Melodic Hardcore i know. I was just trying to make conversation. Besides, im the original 88 lover.

Sounds a bit like the Corn Exchange in Leeds. Except that's all little greebo kids in Slipknot hoodies smoking poorly rolled joints and trying to look cool.

Thankfully, we don't have a spot like that in York. I just hang out in pubs.

ChodaBoy 09-04-2005 11:06 AM

We don't take kindly to conversations around here

Permanent Solution 09-04-2005 11:06 AM

Well most of the guys here listen to more hardcore than Pop-Punk anyways so you'll have success talking about it anyways.

Mute Print 09-04-2005 11:08 AM

I'm downloading an album from 88 Fingers Louie now. I've never heard them before, but I like melodic hardcore, so I should enjoy it.

Arucard 09-04-2005 11:10 AM

Which album?

Mute Print 09-04-2005 11:11 AM

Back On The Streets

Permanent Solution 09-04-2005 11:13 AM

Good choice.

Arucard 09-04-2005 11:14 AM

Awesome. My Melodic Hardcore band is called Back On The Streets, named after that album.

And we have our first gig next week yay!

ChodaBoy 09-04-2005 11:15 AM

Grr. 3G just dont know the meaning of "im busy, ive got to go now."

Even though Im not at all busy, I cant be bothered with them.

Arucard 09-04-2005 11:23 AM

So, do you guys like Senses Fail? I personally think they kick major arse.

Mute Print 09-04-2005 11:27 AM

I like Senses Fail a lot. Really cool band.

Awesome live, too.

Angry Balled Fists! 09-04-2005 11:33 AM

88 Finger Louie own.

Man, my maths is hard, i don't think i'm going to bother doing it.

EDIT - Senses Fail are ok, i find them a bit boring sometimes.

I'm really into The Descendents and Agaisnt Me! at the moment.

I can't get enough of Thanks you, Descendents and Those Anarcho Punks are mysterious, AM!

Arucard 09-04-2005 11:33 AM

I really wanna see them live. When i come out of my Death/Black metal shell, they are who i listen to.

Rum Is For Drinking, Not Burning is probably the catchiest song ever.

Dan : Yes. Thats why my name used to be 88 Fingers Joe.

Gnarmageddon 09-04-2005 11:33 AM

What kind of math stuff are you doing?

To Dan.

And Senses Fail is pretty good.

Angry Balled Fists! 09-04-2005 11:35 AM

Oh shi, it's Joe.

I dunno, a mix, i'm stuck on some statistics at the moment.

Arucard 09-04-2005 11:37 AM

You didn't know it was me!

/cries.

Angry Balled Fists! 09-04-2005 11:39 AM

Arucard 09-04-2005 11:40 AM
