I've started taking drum lessons lately and apparently I'm pretty decent. I want to start some sort of jazz thing sometime, if only people were into that here.

I'm gonna do jazz too. That's one of the main reasons I'm switching. Hip hop and reggae are the others.

I have yet to actually own a drum set.

I just bought my second drum set today. I'm selling my old one to a friend who's just getting into drums. The one I just bought is used, but I'll take used $350 over new $700 any day. It also means I'll have more money for the Les Paul I've been saving up for for a while.

I want to get a really really sweet amp next year, a Fender or something. And then I want to get a new guitar as well, probably a Fender again. I'm thinking a Tele with a single and a humbucker, unless I can find something cooler and more obscure secondhand.

I got my new Fender USA Strat a few months back, I'm loving it.

Jazz is probably in 4/4 more often than rock. But I guess you could just mean the swing style as opposed to straight-eighths.

Damn, we just had a power cut. Scared the crap out of me cause my speakers were on really loud and they made a really harsh popping sound. I thought I was about to die.

Fender Jazz for 550 is a good deal. I got my jazz aerodyne for 650

I know nothing about playing instruments.

And I'm pretty sure Just Like Heaven is by The Cure.

It is but Dinosaur Jr. did a cover of it.

I find those lists so hard.

I was going to make a list but I don't have near enough albums. I'd be putting every record I own from that period in even if they suck and I still wouldn't be anywhere near 100...or 50.

Yeah my list will only be about 25-30 albums. But I don't give a s[size=2]hit[/size]. There's a couple I have from that period that I won't include but the rest I'm sure I would include in a top 100 if I had that many.


So yeah, make one anyway.
