No actually life would be interesting if everyone had the same interests as me so I could actually enjoy everyones company |

I got McCann too (I'm also in rotisserie league.) I loaded up on pitching mostly, but I'm fairly low on depth. This is who I ended up getting.
1st Round - Carl Crawford, OF (TB) 2nd Round - Roy Halladay, SP (PHI) 3rd Round - Felix Hernandez, SP (SEA) 4th Round - Pablo Sandoval, 1B/3B (SF) 5th Round - Brian McCann, C (ATL) 6th Round - Howie Kendrick, 2B (LAA) 7th Round - Jason Bartlett, SS (TB) 8th Round - Michael Young, 3B (TEX) 9th Round - Wandy Rodriguez, SP (HOU) 10th Round - Adam Jones, OF (BAL) 11th Round - David Aardsma, RP (SEA) 12th Round - Matt Cain, SP (SF) 13th Round - Nate McClouth, OF (ATL) 14th Round - Jay Bruce, OF (CIN) 15th Round - Jake Peavy, SP (CHW) 16th Round - Lance Berkman, 1B/3B (HOU) 17th Round - David Price, SP (TB) 18th Round - Clay Bucholz, SP (BOS) 19th Round - J.J. Hardy, 2B/SS (MIL) 20th Round - Kerry Wood, RP (CHC) 21st Round - Brandon Inge, 3B (DET) 22nd Round - Lastings Milledge, OF (PIT) 23rd Round - A.J. Pierzynski, C (CHW) 24th Round - Placido Polanco, 2B (PHI) 25th Round - Ervin Santana, SP (LAA) 26th Round - Luis Castillo, 2B (NYM) 27th Round - (no pick) I'm pretty happy with my draft. Especially considering it's a 11-team league, and I had the 9th pick (although we flipped it every time we ended a round) |
I do too. Lee should be fine soon, and Kawakami is a bit of a sleeper. He pitches well in big games, and had he had some run support consistently last season, he should have had 13 wins or so, which is good for a fifth starter. And he should only be better this year since he'll be accustomed to US ball a bit more.
And you would have Yadier
I'm surprised you didn't comment on me owning Colby Rasmus |

awkward pop |
Not bad though how the hell did panda last until the fourth round but you took Bruce in the 14th?
I don't know. I had some steals. Adam Jones is ESPN's 57th ranked player, and I took him in the 10th round. That's well over fifty picks overdue. Also, Ervin Santana in the 25th round as the 197th player for ESPN, which is also well over fifty picks overdue. |
So excited I'll be moving to Ohio just soon enough to for baseball season. I'm gonna try to go as many Reds game as I can when he Cards come to town.

lol
sports are gay |
I'm really happy with my Roy Halladay pick. Tim Lincecum was available, and I picked Halladay knowing he had better fielding behind him and better run support, and that Tim Lincecum has an uber violent delivery and will get hurt one of these days.

so how about star trek
|
I'd only have taken Santana late like that. He (along with Dice-K and Chien Ming Wang) completely ****ed me for starting pitching last year. I'm also surprised at Jones and the fact that Polanco has been going really late all around from what I see.
I had Brandon Webb and Francisco Liriano for starting pitchers last year. |

I think he has a year or two before it catches up to him. |
so how about star trek
Gonna fish disc 2 of season 2 while I wait for this episode of Justified to finish, watch that and pass out. |
I think he has a year or two before it catches up to him.
Maybe. But you never know. He's a #1 starter on a team with little relief in the bullpen. He really is one of those pitchers that is expected to carry his team to victory, and that puts pressure on him, and his arm. With Lincecum, it's not a matter of "if" it's a matter of "when." |

Yea, Matt Cain isn't too bad either. It's more the people in the bullpen that spur on his extended inning count.

erm for it to be Awkward *POP* it would need to include some pop tendencies aka either accessability or a simplistic nice beat or a generic progression why don't you understand your own made up genre dude |
you don't understand awkward pop
|
synth pop can sound kind of like that
how can you put a label on pop |
I caught a video of that ambidextrous pitcher for the yanks. Dude wears a six finger glove so he can change hands.
|
The video I saw he was getting slapped around a bit.
synth pop can sound kind of like that
how can you put a label on pop
pop=popular music; implying it is accessible it's very simple awkward pop would be something like weezer or idk talking heads+nelly |
but then it would have to be awkward
|
but then it would have to be awkward
awkward isn't really an adjective that can apply to music past lyrical themes i mean, the music can be weird or unique, but how awkward? music doesn't sleep with its ex gf |
to tell you the truth paul i have no idea
maybe its an esoteric awkward strain of pot |
lol
