funny you should mention warm slime, i just picked that one up today. i've only given it one listen but it seems really good so far, though maybe not as good as help. the coloured vinyl looks super nice, too. i also saw them live a month or so ago, so much fun. |
clare and the reasons - the movie
this is like one of my favorite albums. i think everyone SECRETLY loves certain types of "indie pop" with perfect production and playing and singing and songwriting and all that and this in its entirety is just ridiculously beautiful and well written and all that |

i hate when people are talking so loud you can hear them over the band |
everytime i feel like putting on an indie album the last two weeks i've just put on wild nothing's gemini. i feel like i should be criticising it for not being original, but it's so addictive

yea saw some people mentioning it a month or two ago so i gave it a few listens. fun stuff. dunno if you've listened to IceAge or not, but check that album out. not saying it's entirely similar to White Lung or anything, but you might enjoy it. |

i've seen kurt vile live three times and he was like a 6/10 each time. why does he use the SAME EXACT guitar sound on all songs ever?
|
that's not true, he's been doing more acoustic stuff now and voice has changed considerably. plus all of his records are pretty varied so idk what you're talking about
|
never said anything about his voice, but all i know is that i saw him live and it was actually pretty cool....for five minutes. after which i was like "okay is he just playing the same song for an hour?"
i haven't heard any of his records, either |
