The new Whitechapel comes out a day before my birthday, too bad im not too much into them...
thanks for sharing!
i've grown to like them
their new stuff sounds much better already than their old stuff so you might wanna try and take a listen again. |
The only song I liked alot from their first album was Fairy Fay.
I'm listening to new Carnifex on myspace. First I got the leak like a month ago and it was flat as hell, the production makes it sound better from what I'm hearing, but meh.

lol yeah a lot of people dont like them too much but they were one of the 2 first deathcore bands i heard before the genre got way too over saturated with bands that all sound the same |
I listen to their old stuff sometimes still
CON SUME ME WITH HEERRRTE |
of course
Grow up.
If I showed you a song from a band you've never heard, you would have a really hard time deciphering if it's Christian or not. I'm assuming you're the type of person that would love it, but if you found it was Christian, you'd pretend you didn't. You're just being like the "rest" of the people there because you immediately reject a band's sound because of their faith outside of the music that sometimes might influence the lyrics. If it's a "shove-the-gospel-down-your-throat" kind of band I'd understand that it would make sense for you to dislike them, but how many deathcore bands are like that and how often and can you distinguish what exactly they're growling anyways? Well, that's my rant.
Aight, DJ, 7 years my junior, is telling me to grow up. That is rich. :-| If I found out a band were devout pedophiles, or suicide bombers, or ran the old website GodHatesSweden.com, that too would turn me off of them. I am kind of emotional and personal like that when it comes to music, which is totally weird, seeing as how music is totally objective. I just don't like stupid/evil people and their music. Unless it's black metal. |
Me?
Despised Icon, Whitechapel, Suicide Silence (make fun of me all you want), Veil of Maya, and Job thats about it right now I need more.
Glass Casket, Viatrophy and The Red Shore are worth cehcking out as well |
The New KOTA rules a lot.
When JFAC were Deathcore, they were garbage. Not to say that they still don't have garbage traits now.
Doom was decent if you could get past the overuse of pig squeels and breakdowns, idk just my opinion.
it was an ok ep for them, i actually prefer their newer stuff as to thier older stuff
I do too, I kinda wish they'd through in a squeel here and there to make it a little less repeatitive.
What's wrong with Pig Squeals?
Eliminator does that all the time! |
no thats called a girlish scream...
True new KOTA is pretty good
When JFAC were Deathcore, they were garbage. Not to say that they still don't have garbage traits now.
they were also a bunch of 15 year olds with a 16 year old singer, and andy rysam was 14 when they recorded that demo as for the doom ep, not deathcore, and its incredible |
Doom isn't deathcore?
it sounds like melodic dm with some simple "brutal" parts and tons of breakdowns
total lack of anything youd hear in a hardcore song though, not even the drumming is hardcore oriented like a lot of deathcore mistaken (TTEOTD and ABRB for example) |
imo i think doom is deathcore but mappy does have a point
idk i think its deathcore but tru it doesnt even have hardcore parts
thats funny though cause even the band admits that the new album "doesnt have as much of a hardcore influence as their old work does" lol
which is funny cause they have like 3 songs altogether that have hardcore parts and they stopped playing those songs live after a year of being together
I thought we agreed that deathcore didn't necessarily mean hardcore parts, its kinda a thing all on its own.
I thought we agreed deathcore is anything w/ jun jun jun wee
but metalcore has jun jun jun wee as well.
hmm, true
jun jun jun bree?
deathcore is way better then metalcore anyway
im really looking forward to the new whitechapel album for some reason. even though i have a feeling its not going to be anything that special
New Whitechapel, After the burial, and Acirema are going to slay even though i still can't really pinpoint the corrent genre for Acirema. It's either Deathcore or Death Metal but i'm safer posting about them here where the eliteist aren't posting
i wasnt even thoroughly impressed with the somatic defilement its grown on me a bit but its still not a great album, but im still looking forward to this is exile. that song is really effin good too
I just really like Devirgination Studies.
