Hi. What's up?

Moon Flavor 10-07-2006 09:38 AM

Not a lot, you?

Akira 10-07-2006 09:42 AM

Same. Listening to Seth Horan.

This name sounds familiar...

He's a bassist/singer. I like him a lot. His playing is really technical at times, and I think he has a good voice.

Oh, THAT guy. I wasn't really fond of him.

Although his playing is pretty nifty...

It's not for everyone, for sure. It seems people love his voice or hate it.

Either way, he has sick chops. He really shines as a bassist.

Moon Flavor 10-07-2006 09:51 AM

Well, I'm off to eat. Peace all!

This giving up somking business is no fun.

Piece of advice.

When working in the workshop, always wear shoes.

Dropped a substantial piece of wenge onto my foot, right on the instep. Rather painful.

Greetings all.

Just one reason why my normal day-to-day shoes have steel toecaps. :)

I have a couple pairs of boots with those.

Too bad the wood fell well above where any steel toe cap would have been.

I normally wear a pair of slip on pig skin shoes when working, comfy with a decent rubber sole.

Any sort of shoe would have at least lessened the impact.

Wintermute 10-07-2006 10:45 AM

To be fair, heavy woodwork shoeless is quite a bad idea anyway. Aside from dropping wood, there are endless splinters, possibly dropped nails/screws, and I don't want to even think about dropped powertools

I was just getting setup and seeing how the wenge would look as the fretboard and I oved it towards the side to see where I would be routing a channel for a re-inforement rod.

I turned and obviously bumped it and I turned back to have it land on my foot.

Stupid on my part, but live and learn.

Big Thanksgiving dinner for me tonight. :D

Prime Rib > Turkey

Prime rib is the way to go. Apparently the piece of meat cost $80.

Got to agree with you there.

Red Meat > White Meat

Though I do enjoy rabbit, but am not certain what that classifies as.

Moon Flavor 10-07-2006 11:14 AM

White meat is where it's at.

Efrim 10-07-2006 11:16 AM

Mammal meat> wing-ed meat

Moon Flavor 10-07-2006 11:17 AM
Mammal meat> wing-ed meat
That only applies for ham. Turkey and ESPECIALLY fried chicken own the hell outta most mammals.

katana_manatee 10-07-2006 11:17 AM

Prawns > All.

Well, to my taste buds at least. Although some nice rib is a contender...

No way, man. A roast of lamb is oral heaven, whereas well cooked turkey/chicken is just food.

bottlerocket 10-07-2006 11:24 AM

I know! I don't see how one cannot recognize the beauty that is lamb.

ebe9 10-07-2006 11:30 AM

Red Meat = Beef

White Meat = Chicken

Seafood = Prawns & Calamari

bottlerocket 10-07-2006 11:30 AM

Favorite meat?

Prime rib or ribs.

Maybe because they haven't had it. The first time I had it I was surprised because of how good it was.

ebe9 10-07-2006 11:33 AM

Anybody else have a fetish for cowbells when hearing drums?

I am listening to "Queens of the Stone Age - Little Sister" and for some reason the cowbell gets me everytime.

bottlerocket 10-07-2006 11:33 AM

I feel really bad every time I eat meat. :(

But alas, I am human...too human for my own good.

<_<

/writes that down

ebe:  No but I do currently have a fettish with Cursive, Bright Eyes, and The Pine...3 amazingggggg bands.

Efrim 10-07-2006 11:33 AM

You can't reach paradise until you've had lamb. I just bought a lamb actually, so I've got a whole bunch of cuts in my freezer. I have to pace myself though....

Radiobass81 10-07-2006 11:34 AM
