...Meh...I prefer my own hands. I like to get messy
I'll let that one slide without adding any innuendo, but I may give out a childish giggle. teehee. |
Tomorrow I get to be a busboy! It should be pretty fun.
Also, thoughts on Garden State for the hell of it: I liked it a lot the first time I saw it- I fell in love with Natalie Portman again and Zach seemed like a nice enough guy! But I saw it again a few weeks ago and it almost seemed to be aggressively indie- like all of these people HAD to have something wrong with them! I really didn't like it as much. |

Goood Morning.
It's 8:00am adn in 15-20 mins i'm off to work........... And Laboour won the election |
Is it good or bad that he won?
I didnt like Garden State at first, I still dont much, but its grown on me some. |
Bad, but they lost about 100 seats altogether, so it's a much fairer government and next election Conservatives will win.
Labour lost A LOT of ground. |
So conservatives are the same in America right? Like Bush?
And labour party members are like democrats? Like Kerry or Clinton? Or am I horribly wrong? |

Erm, just read this, I have to go and teach some little kids.............. |

That makes 4 gigs lined up at the moment (Funeral For A Friend, Pennywise, Finch and Jimmy Eat World) Something tells me saving up for Leeds tickets on eBay is out the picture? I was listening to Gatsby's American Dream at school today, I never realized how amazing it is. Also listened to Fall Out Boy (Duh!) and The Get Up Kids new live CD Someone reply in the Forced Listening thread
liek omg lol, are you going to the one in manchester? wow, the PP forum has gotten hella busy, i remember back in the day when it was like this. good times. /remembers old stuff - like when we thought jas was a guy. |
So conservatives are the same in America right? Like Bush?
And labour party members are like democrats? Like Kerry or Clinton? Or am I horribly wrong?
Yeah, Labour are the UK equivalent of Democrats. Which is odd why Blair likes to be so pally with Bush when they are supposed to be opposite sides of the spectrum. No more political talk now. It makes my brain hurt. I think I have a sty in my left eye or something. It's a little red and really sore on the bottom eyelid. I reckon it's because I get shampoo in my eyes every day now. My hair's too goddam long! I did something rather cheeky last night. A bunch of ladies we were out with all went to the toilet at the same time as me, and after I'd finished I stopped and listened to the lady toilet chat through the usefully thin door. What I heard was eye-opening to say the least. |
Yeah, Labour are the UK equivalent of Democrats. Which is odd why Blair likes to be so pally with Bush when they are supposed to be opposite sides of the spectrum.
Technically the Labour Party is more of a Social-Democratic institution than a purely Democratic one, if I'm not mistaken. Like here in America we have labour unions to provide more job security and worker rights for the average labourer, which is also a Social-Democratic program. |

Yeah, that's probably pretty accurate, I was just talking in terms of the basic equivalents of the two main parties. The third party in the UK, Liberal Democrats, is probably the one I'd go for if I wasn't so opposed to government. I often think they should put an option on the ballot slip which says 'none of the above' or 'anarchy'. Also I sometimes wonder if my vote is even worthwhile, because my constituency is well known for being the safest Labour seat in the country. |

I would never have voted for Lib Dems. One of their policies was to allow prisoners to vote. Can you imagine what they would want? Legalise all drugs, and lower police funding! |

I get that. I'm registered as a Democrat here, but that's only because left-wing politics are the closest to my views as it gets without having to register as a non-partisan. The Socialist party here in America is fairly large, but it isn't recognized on the ballot because my country seems to still be locked into the Cold War mentality that Communists are the enemy and therefore don't deserve a place in the elections. Unfortunately, a majority of America is disgustingly uneducated when it comes to opposing governmental systems. |
Oh, and I just saw on the news that Blair won the election for a third term. Looks like America isn't the only country with a habit of re-electing idiotic leaders. :p

123 Most disappointing. I think my bassist is planning on saying a few choice words about this at our show tonight. /is horrendously nervous |

Legalise all drugs, and lower police funding!
In fairness, I would legalise drugs, but just make sure that everyone is fully informed on the pros and cons rather than pushing 'drugs are bad' propaganda down their throats. The dangers of most drugs are over-rated anyway. This would benefit the police as well, as they could focus on tackling more important crimes. |
I'm gonna try to get a party together to kill Duriel in D2 and then I'm going to bed.
Goodnight. |

I bought Garden State today, and to be honest, I thought it was a little overated. It certainly has a lot of emotion put behind it, but it wasn't a great movie in my opnion.
|
I know I'm the only one here, but I really need to vent this
I thought about writing a story. I don't really know what about, but I have this really bad habit. When I'm laying in bed trying to get to sleep or on the bus listening to music, I'll sort of narrate a story I just made up in my head. Sometimes I do it with lyrics too, I think of some of the most beautiful words I could put together, and they just fit. Then when I get to a computer or pad to write them down, it's all gone and I have no idea where to start And it's pissing me off  |
get a pen and note book then you tard.
xxx |
I'm not just gonna carry it round with me everywhere, that will look stupid. Or will it make me look more clever...
Hummm |
hmmm... maybe if you get one of them art guy hats and some horn rimmed glasses, you could pull it off.
you going to see finch next wednesday biotch? |
Guys I'm so pissed! Ive been wreslting since I was 6 and know i'm not going to college so i'm not going to do anything ever again bitch ****! I took this year off because I thought thats what I wanted. But it ended up ruining my whole carrer because since I didn't wrestle this year I don't quilify for the Iowa state scholorship or any other scholorship. I could go to a community college. But then I still couldn't wrestle. The only chance I have in hell is if I play my senior year and place 1st in state and at least 5th in nation. It is possible last year I was 4th in state and 15th in nation. I think I could do it.
Sorry guys that was completly off topic. I saw finch on their last tour it was freaking awesome! The pit almost killed me. There was this big guy that kept punching me in the face. I cryed. :( |
i'm going to see finch on wednesday (as i have said)
and i hope to be that guy punching someone in the face. |
He almost killed me! I thought I was going to have to run for my life. Every time I moved it seemed like he just followed me. I was scared ****less!
|
Heeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
|
I hate pits where you get some wanker who punches as many people as he can. Usually, pits are quite friendly. I feel over at My Chemical Romance (Along with a ton of other people), and a few people offered to help me up alone. I also lost my shoe, and someone found it :D
Finch in June for me, although I would've rather seen them with Motion City |
i'm going again in june. just because it's finch.
wait... tickets haven't sold out for that yet have they? do you know if anyone else is supporting them on wednesday? and what are mewithoutyou like? i'm seeing them tonight with 'Heed and Mae. |
