ToRidTheDisease 03-30-2005 01:57 AM

http://ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/ozzy_no_black_sabbath_album.html

rippa32 03-30-2005 04:14 AM

Yeah I read that too. Im not to worried its not like theres any less chance of it coming out than before.

ToRidTheDisease 03-30-2005 04:15 AM

True.

rippa32 03-30-2005 04:18 AM

I was just going through Mettalicas discography when I noticed Sabbra Cadabra on the Garage Inc album. Has anyone heard Metallicas version? Is it any good?

ToRidTheDisease 03-30-2005 04:19 AM

No.

Infact, it's horrible IMO.

rippa32 03-30-2005 04:21 AM

Okay. I wouldnt get a cover album anyway I usually dont like covers at all.

ToRidTheDisease 03-30-2005 04:22 AM

Yeah, that album is pretty mediocre. Covers are usually pretty ****ty, but in some cases they are good.

rippa32 03-30-2005 05:13 AM

I was thinking of getting a new Metallica album I already have Justice, what should I get next? (Sorry if you dont like the idea of going off the topic of Sabbath).

Ride the Lightning or Master of Puppets.. Then get Kill Em All

rippa32 03-30-2005 05:18 AM

Okay Ill get Ride the Lightning, thanks. Back to Sabbath, does anyone know what the Black Sabbath Story Part 1 DVD is like?

blue3 03-30-2005 05:20 AM

No... but the War Pigs Live 1970 Video just finished downloading.. I watched it and it was great

ToRidTheDisease 03-30-2005 05:23 AM

Wait for Andy to come on here. He has that DVD.

rippa32 03-30-2005 05:23 AM

How big is it?

blue3 03-30-2005 05:26 AM
How big is it?
The file size? It's 61631 KB

rippa32 03-30-2005 05:27 AM

Bugger, too much for my dial-up connection.

blue3 03-30-2005 05:28 AM

Hah.. that sucks

rippa32 03-30-2005 05:29 AM

Yep

rippa32 03-30-2005 05:36 AM

So how did you guys get into sabbath?

ToRidTheDisease 03-30-2005 05:43 AM

Parents.

rippa32 03-30-2005 05:47 AM

Really? My parents hate it. I got into them through some guy from school who has the best of.

Six Foot Revolver 03-30-2005 05:52 AM

I heard Paranoid so borrowed the album off a friend.

IAJP 03-30-2005 07:27 AM

I got into Sabbath the same way I got into any band, mostly word of mouth.
If they were aparently good, then I bought the most critically acclaimed album (and we all know what that is:p)
Plus, I used to be at my uncles a lot as a kid, and he would alway be playing the debut, so I borrowed it off him and loved it.

King_Karl 03-30-2005 08:13 AM

I don't even remember how I got into Sabbath
But I can't really imagine life without them.

Brew 03-30-2005 09:04 AM
Okay Ill get Ride the Lightning, thanks. Back to Sabbath, does anyone know what the Black Sabbath Story Part 1 DVD is like?
Its only worth buying for the videos, the highlight being Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Also you get to hear about 23 seconds of The Rebel, which I have saved on my pooter somewhere, there may be a small sample of A Song For Jim, but I'm not sure.

If you really want a good DVD about the story of Sabbath, get the Last Supper.

Oh yeh - The Black Sabbath Story part 2 was horribly rushed and only worth buying for the videos, the one for...Headless Cross (I think) is pretty funny.

I got into Sabbath after I saw Ozzy at the Ozzfest in 2002, I borrowed all the albums upto Never Say Die! off my Dad then got myself into the post-Ozzy stuff last summer...possibly the summer before.

Brew 03-30-2005 09:07 AM
****, I just read this.
I read that awhile ago, if there isn't going to be another Sabbath album with Ozzy, that leaves the door open for a Tony Martin re-union, or even a Dio re-union which is highly unlikely.

ozzyhead541 03-30-2005 12:16 PM

my favorite sabbath song 21st century schizoid man
i heard some rumors flyin around that sabbath will be releasing an all new album

Brew 03-30-2005 02:04 PM

Its currently 50/50 as to whether we'll see another Classic Black Sabbath album or not.

blue3 03-30-2005 04:08 PM
So how did you guys get into sabbath?
My parents. They listened to a lot of classic rock like Beatles, Zeppelin.. Then I just stole their Black Sabbath CDs and started listening to them

King_Karl 03-30-2005 04:11 PM

I wish I had cool parents. They hate anything I like.

Brew 03-30-2005 04:15 PM

My Dad's gotten me into loads of bands, including Dragonforce.

He's also taken me to loads of gigs, he's great.

blue3 03-30-2005 04:23 PM

My dad buys concert tickets for me, so I don't have to pay..

ToRidTheDisease 03-30-2005 09:23 PM

rippa32 03-31-2005 08:26 PM

I was thinking of getting a new one any suggestions anybody?

ToRidTheDisease 03-31-2005 08:39 PM
