It's time to begin - now count it in...
5-6-7-8

My boot scootin' baby is drivin' me crazy
My obsession from a western - my dance floor date
My rodeo romeo, a cowboy god from head to toe
Wanna make you mine better get in line
5-6-7-8

Foot kickin' - finger clickin', leather slapping - hand clappin' -
hip bumpin' - music thumpin' - knee hitchin' - heel and toe -
floor scuffin' - leg shufflin' - big grinnin' - body spinnin' -
rompin' stompin' - pumpin' jumpin' - slidin' glidin' - here we go

Tush pushin' - thunder footin' - cowgirl twistin' - no resistin' -
drums bangin' - steel twangin' - two steppin' - end to end
hardwood crawlin' - some four wallin' - rug cuttin' - cowboy struttin' -
burnin' yearnin' - windin' grindin' - lets begin the dance again

You're mine, all mine now bubba
Gonna rope you in - so count me in
5-6-7-8

Sorry. Is it just sitting on top of the carpet? If it is then you can probably just pick it out.

Do you have any carpet cleaner? It does wonders.

Zappa 12-19-2004 05:41 PM

So I just got the score to "Twisted Nerve" by Bernard Herrmann, my favorite film composer. You know the theme to this one, Tarantino used it for the scene in "Kill Bill Volume 1" where Elle Driver is whistling as she walks through the hospital. The whole score is good.

Zappa 12-19-2004 05:46 PM
Am I the only person that didn't really like those films? I can see the score being good though...
I liked the movies. However, they didn't really have a "score," per se. The Rza wrote a tiny bit of original music for them, but the movie's music all together was almost all lifted from either other movie scores or pop music.

Bartender 12-19-2004 05:48 PM
I saw the first one, and it was awful. Haven't yet bothered to see the second.

Iai 12-19-2004 06:38 PM

The second pwns the first.

.....y'all got it was my 5,678th post, right?

Zappa 12-19-2004 09:03 PM

So I just made a "smart playlist" on iTunes that I set to include all songs I've listened to in the last 24 hours.

The playlist is 12 hours and 33 minutes long.

Absurd.

I had a wierd day. I went to the beach at 6:30 (more like 7 because I spent so long waiting for my mum), got home about 10:30 and then just slept for the rest of the day.

br3ad_man 12-20-2004 12:37 AM

Kevin Shields Your Ears 12-20-2004 12:43 AM

Guys, I have 6 stars, what does that mean?

Tangy zizzle 12-20-2004 12:45 AM

That you have no friends you can actually touch.

Plainlazy 12-20-2004 05:08 AM

It means that its your avatar. You dont actually have 6 stars, or any stars. You're just silly. {wish I'd thought of it}. Also you smell.

Iai 12-20-2004 05:13 AM
Guys, I have 6 stars, what does that mean?
You've been registered for a year and you're still making dumb-ass jokes like that?

Just got home from work. It's 11.00 AM. :(

The Ashtray Girl 12-20-2004 07:26 AM

Hello everyone. I am ill and suffering today, having just had the weekend of my life.

All those going to see Muse tonight, enjoy it, that was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. The Zutons are really great as well.

static_wig 12-20-2004 08:28 AM

This is a cool thread. On this unsigned bands forum I go on I get shouted at when me and my mates talk about our lives. It's stupid. Anyway, I am new, although I've been registered for ages I hardly ever come on. And the less said about Muse's gigs tonight and last night the better! I couldn't go because I thought I would be on holiday but I'm not going untill thursday now!!!!!! Grr! Oh but I did order a really nice Tshirt just now :D in my right size and everything!

Iai 12-20-2004 08:31 AM

I'm ordering t-shirts tonight. Public Enemy, Jeff Buckley, and Love, specifically.

Tapeworm 12-20-2004 08:41 AM

I want a Jeff Buckley shirt more than Popeye wants spinach.

static_wig 12-20-2004 08:43 AM

I really want a Killers Tshirt. It is so hard to get Tshirts for girls though because not many bands or artists make skinny fit ones, which I think is wrong! I bet there are no Jeff Buckley skinny fit Tshirts out there.

Happymeal 12-20-2004 08:43 AM

I want a Vincent Price's Orphan Powered Death Machine shirt

Tapeworm 12-20-2004 08:49 AM

I want a shirt with a picture of me and my Telecaster making out.

Iai 12-20-2004 09:18 AM

http://www.eightbs.co.uk/8ball/band.php?Band=Buckley%2C%20Jeff

 at people who live outside the UK.

Tomahawk 12-20-2004 09:26 AM

Woah, that costs money. A lot of it.

Tapeworm 12-20-2004 09:31 AM

Gee, lucky the shirt totally sucks.
