It's an intense soundtrack, but I always felt is was TOO intense for the movie.
I'll have to watch it again. Hey Nick, sup dawg?
Hey there. Not much, at work trying not to fall asleep and trying to convince my coworker to go over my place for pizza a movie....:naughty: What about yourself? |
Also at work, waiting for the last 20 minutes to pass.
I'm emailing this guy selling a Morley A/B switch and a Boss TR-2 for $90 (for both), but I cannot make it over there until tomorrow afternoon, and he doesn't want to hold them. Should I offer him $100 to hold them for me? Or just wait for another time? |
I refuse people like that sometimes, if they get angry or offensive I just ban them haha, love the authority.
3 stories about dickheads with change 1) One guy bought a case of beer for $40, all $1 coins, sure, that's not too bad. 2) Some Korean guy, asked if he could buy a pack of smokes with coins, it was like $12, I said sure. He has ALL 5 and 10c pieces. Kinda annoying. 3) Mark and I were at one of the pooptier stores once, two old ladies had "got lucky" at bingo, and asked if they could get two bottles of scotch with the coins. We were feeling nice and said sure, we'd love a bit of extra change. What we didn't expect was $80 in nothing bigger than 20c pieces. **** THAT.
You turn people away with legal tender? That's f*cked, like homeless people don't have it bad enough already. |

Technically, by law, I don't have to accept anything over $5 in legal tender. There was a big debate about it. But in a shop that sells nothing but liquor and cigarettes they can **** right off. |
Homeless people shouldn't be spending their money on liquor anyway.

Who're you to judge!? They need their box wine to live! Some dumpy hag came in the other day to get a $10 cask, had like $9.35, says "oh hang on a sec," brings her 14ish yo son in and convinces him in front of me to use his keycard to pay the 65c. Because, you know, you NEED that wine. |
What are they going to do, drink their way off the street?
Haha. Can you even pay 65c on a keycard? |
Hey guys, thanks for the birthday wishes!

Haha. Can you even pay 65c on a keycard?
My manager made some douchebag pay 10c on keycard once. We can do whatever the **** we want :smash: |
Haha wow. So minimum EFTPOS purchases are just store policies?

Oh god yeah, there's no law, it's all at the company's discretions. Like when they do the whole 3% surcharge on credit. |

Secondly, given that the son put money into it, it means he technically is paying for the alcohol and you are allowing a minor to purchase alcohol. That's how it works in the U.S., and I've seen undercover sting operations happen like that. Be careful, dawg. |

Np! Where's your birthday thread? |
If I were called for jury duty for a case like that, I'd file against the court for wasting my time.

Best cover eveeeeerr!
 Ted actually has a good voice. I was surprised the first time the quartet appeared. My lead singer acted in a movie with Sarah Chalke, just a bit of info for ya. |

Secondly, I know but he wasn't in there when she chose it nor did he touch the machine so as far as I'm concerned, I just don't care. Yeah a lot of the time liquor licensing will recruit 17 year olds who're unusually gargantuan to come in and buy like, a coke, and then if you don't ID them and subsequently refuse them you get to make love to a government issued fine. Yes, it's that bad over here. You can't buy chips from a liquor store, you can't even enter a liquor store. I'd like to know there policy on life or death situations. Because if I sell a minor a bottle of water because they're dehydrated we can both technically be fined a **** load. |

I loved watching kids come through my line with a couple 12-pks of red bull talking about how drunk they were going to get at so-and-so's party. They weren't buying alcohol and you can't stop kids from drinking, so you have to let them through. I could understand not selling it to them in that case, but sh*t, liquor stores near me use the styrofoam cups that keep my drink colder longer and they're open late. I lave rolling up there at 1am and getting me a giant fruity-dew. (Mountain Dew & Hawaiian Punch, I believe) |

I had a short day at work today because we're celebrating the defeat of the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka.
|
I had a long day today because my electric trolley broke half way round my post round. Fail.
I need a new cab to act like a sub for my rig. Preferably one thats 23.5" wide and 16" deep XD I really don't know what to buy. I'm so happy with my Schroeder for the most part, I just need something else to compliment it :/ |

compact would be nice.
fwiw, i'm going to be running my bass signal into a crossover anyway, with the highs going to my 1212L and my lows going to a second cab. was going to buy a second 1212L but the 1212L doesn't have mad epic lows, which is what i want to use this for. on an unrelated note, my sister just told me she considers 4pm to be early evening. what am i missing here? that's just so... wrong |
Nothing, she's wrong.
I would say evening, if I have to pick a time, begins maybe 6PM. Or, as soon as you've got twilight, that's early evening I would say. Just like it isn't "morning" until the sun starts to rise. |

That wasn't a typo. When I'm on the phone with customers, and they have to call back "around noon," I always get a call in those time periods. |

Early morning - between the time the bars close until you have to get up for work the next day. Morning - the time between getting up and lunch break. Noon - Lunch break Afternoon - after lunch, but before work is over. Rinse. Lather. Repeat. |
