I don't mind them. They're better than most of the stuff the metalcore kids listen to. At least in some of their songs you can kind of feel the vibe they wanted with it, unlike most of the pop-metalcore bands like Bleeding Through and Atreyu where all their music is shallow and meaningless due to it all being exactly the same.

The only Metalcore bands I think are truly original are Still Remains and maybe The Devil Wears Prada.

A really good Metalcore album is the first, Self-Released album by Haste the Day, "That They May Know You".

Some consider that an EP, but I don't.
It's actually longer than "Burning Bridges" and far better.

So yeah, the only HTD album that isn't mediocre is "That They May Know You."
It's good stuff.

The Devil Wears Prada is by far the least original, however.

i totally agree. "That They May Know You" is a pretty sick album. Still Remains is pretty sick as well, althought i think they went soft with "The Serpent". and as for Devil Wears Prada, they are original, but they're not really my cup of tea.

The only thing original about TDWP is the epic sound their keyboardist provides.

Without that, they would be just another Metalcore band.
