Hmmm, haven't posted here since I first joined the site

To make things short, I'm falling in love with my best (female) friend, but I'm not sure whether or not I want to go to the next level with her (Boyfriend and girlfriend) or if I want to keep her as a friend. I know I'm going to talk to her about it and see what she thinks. I want her as a girlfriend because I think she's totally awesome and amazing, but if something goes wrong, I don't want to lose her as a friend...

Any advice would be muchly appreciated

If everyone can keep their wits about them, even after a breakup, they can remain friends.

Good idea to talk to her about it, though.

that's how i ended up going out with my best/girlfriend... i worked out great... 2 1/2 years and going... it's great cos you already know virtually everything about each other...

as long as it wouldn't seem weird to be in a relationship, then be just friends again (if things don't go right) i'd say go for it....
