Sucks for you Jom. Bleed all over your hand and go smear blood prints over those annoying and bitchy girls door.
I threw giant icicles that come down from the townhouses at their door already, so blood is out of the question. Fortunately, it doesn't hurt even remotely close to my surgery-ized toe, it just bleed for awhile. And a big fat refl @ Family Guy avatar.
How? Do you juust have brittle feet or something?
Not at all - the only bones I've broken in my body are located in my nose :>)
Does it hurt?
It did for a longass time. But not anymore... until I shower again or something. |
Well it seems I have created a Featured Genre. I hope other people will take part in making some.

Gothenburg is for Poseurs.
NP-Manic street Preachers- Ready for drowning. |
Shut up Ollie.
That is the worst write-up ever though. He barely mentioned the two original Gothenburg bands... |
If you actually read the thing, I mentioned them, I didn't do a whole write up. And all the websites I got info from said that Septic Broiler was thrash metal, and Cermonial Oath or whatever was just heavy death metal.
|
Shut up Ollie.

Dude, both were Gothenburg.
Do you have any of their material? NP: Ceremonial Oath - Dreamsong This intro sounds like something off of Whoracle by In Flames...
Just because you love Arch enemy, and not because of Angela being hot either. Because you're gay :p
I don't like Arch Enemy :). |
Like a Sandwich prevented from taking over the world, I say "bah, foiled again"
NP-Manics-If you tolerate this, then your children will be next. |
Septic Broiler was Dark Tranquility's original name, and Ceremonial Oath hasn't released anything in over a decade. It would hardly be worth the time to do more then simply mentioning them.
|
ShadowsFallen! Septic Broiler had slight line-up differences, I forget all the details.
As for Ceremonial Oath, The Book of Truth and Carpet are two of the earliest albums in the genre, and the members of the band went on to form really influencial bands withing the genre. |
and Ceremonial Oath hasn't released anything in over a decade. It would hardly be worth the time to do more then simply mentioning them.
Neither have Mayhem, well, nothing worth mentioning, and if the writeup was on Norwegian Black metal, we would do more than mention Mayhem, right? |
But since they only put out one demo before becoming DT, there's no point in spending a lot of time on them.
Ceremonial Oath is one of the first, but a relatively unknown band. I've never heard their stuff, but it's no surprise they weren't mentioned. |
Funny thing is, I think Mayhem's work with Maniac > their work with Dead :).
But what you say does make a lot of sense Ollie :p.
But since they only put out one demo before becoming DT, there's no point in spending a lot of time on them. Ceremonial Oath is one of the first, but a relatively unknown band. I've never heard their stuff, but it's no surprise they weren't mentioned.
Why is it no surprise that they weren't mentioned? Because he has no clue what he's talking about? Even if the band wasn't the best thing ever, they did practically start the genre! |
Well, I wouldn't know about that, but it doesn't seem like they've had much of an impact other than being one of the genre's earliest bands.
I'm no Gothenburg expert though, so I can't say if they're (musically) worth mentioning or not. Sounds like more research on this matter should've been conducted.
Neither have Mayhem, well, nothing worth mentioning, and if the writeup was on Norwegian Black metal, we would do more than mention Mayhem, right?
What are you talking about? They released an album one year ago. They're still very active. |
Every newb knows Carcass started melodic death.
|

Yeah, well, Chimera, much as I like the album, wasn't truely BM, and The rest since Euro was killed hasn't really been worthwile /prays for Ordo Ab Chao to be great |
Yeah, well, Chimera, much as I like the album, wasn't truely BM, and The rest since Euro was killed hasn't really been worthwile
/prays for Ordo Ab Chao to be great
Mayhem's music is culturally significant more than it's actually good. There's better black metal. I don't like De Mysteriis as much as other people, but other stuff of there's I like, Chimera included.. I'm interested in the new one either way. Hopefully it won't be another GDOW. |
Every newb knows Carcass started melodic death.
 God I love you Jelle. I agree with ShadowsFallen, their old stuff isn't too good, it's significant though. As for Ceremonial Oath, without them, not much Gothenburg would be around, the members went off and formed a lot of the bands in the genre. |
