That episode of MTV's Made with C-Rayz Walz training some Jewish kid to freestyle was on yesterday. That guy is so cool.
I've seen that before, that kid is hilarious, and the rapping was great. Who is C-Rayz though?

It's funny that they used C-Rayz Walz. It's wierd to see him do something on MTV.

Anyhow, that Plan B album was great, I love the first track so much.

ATM 04-29-2007 01:03 PM

I think Apathy would have been a better choice.

gregulus 04-29-2007 01:21 PM
I guess he wanted to learn to freestyle so they had to choose between C-Rayz and Immortal Technique. And the interests of not provoking another terrorist attack, they chose C-Rayz.
Haha, you're probably right. Imagine the kid's parents if they'd have gotten Immortal Technique.

That's like judging rap and hip-hop on Chamillionaire. Speaking of Chamillionaire, anyone heard the Weird Al cover White And Nerdy? Cracks me up every time.

Chamillionaire?! Probably the lamest rap name ever. I doubt he has hardly any money at all, like more musicians because the record company will ask for a lot of the money back to cover his original advance, which is probably quite high because it ain't cheap being a wannabe millionaire! At least Jay-Z has something to brag about, but these young rappers think they are going to be rich and pre-maturely act rich and then find themselves broke again at like the age of 20.

Some of the hip-hop coming out of the UK at the moment is really great. I still listen to Kano's album regularly.

Rams 04-30-2007 04:41 PM

Chamillionaire owns Chamillitary Entertainment.

Tomorrow will be the album of the year. Pharoahe Monch's Desire.

DanD 04-30-2007 10:51 PM

So I haven't had the internet in awhile so i haven't been able to keep up with all of the happenins in the Rap/Hip-Hop world, so what has come out recently that I need to listen to?

ATM 05-02-2007 04:56 PM

Oh man this hasn't leaked has it?

Tyler 05-02-2007 11:14 PM

It comes out in June. I'm assuming it'll leak any day if it hasn't yet. What I've heard (the odd track from promo releases) is really, really ****ing solid though.

Robert Crumb 05-02-2007 11:21 PM

Wait, is he rapping or sanging?

Tyler 05-02-2007 11:23 PM

Rapping.
Oh man this hasn't leaked has it?
It's really good. I'm excited for the rest of it.

DanD 05-03-2007 10:27 PM

i'm listening to that Messiah J & the Expert album and its pretty tight

Tyler 05-03-2007 10:35 PM

I really wish "I Wish My Brother George Was Here" didn't have that song where he's all "dark skinned girls are better than light skinned girls". It's bad.

Robert Crumb 05-04-2007 12:03 AM
It's really good. I'm excited for the rest of it.
Yeah, I checked out those tracks on Myspace. Really fantastic production. That's the only thing I was worried about. Pharoaheeee

LapraS 05-04-2007 02:08 AM

Check out Methodman Ft Lauryn Hill- Say.

By the way, why is there no Hip Hop forum?

LapraS 05-04-2007 02:11 AM

Why is everybody confusing Rap and Hip Hop here..Rap's a subgenre, just as G-funk (Regulate-Warren G)

Apocalyptic Raids 05-04-2007 03:27 AM
By the way, why is there no Hip Hop forum?
Because not enough people are into Hip Hop to warrant a whole section for it.

LapraS 05-04-2007 06:39 AM

Why? I'm merely stating my concern.

kurrpt 05-04-2007 06:45 AM

he only said that because you were right
