i always liked the english papers, i thought they were easy. i hope my exam tomorrow isnt hot

FVG27 06-06-2006 09:08 AM
Well english was easy enough. Had to argue and persuade for someone to join an environmental protection group. And it was really hot in the exam hall :(
That was my paper too! I did the arguing about expeditions (number 3). Was an easy paper I thought.

FVG27 06-06-2006 09:10 AM
I realy do not understand how you can have a paper on graphics.

Graphics is a sub catorgry of art. And i dont see how you can have any writen paper on any graphics/art, anything like that.
It's not really written as such. We have to do constructions with a given theme... and questions involving advantages/disadvantages and different types of printing blah blah blah. Boring.

2muchket! 06-06-2006 09:12 AM

^ Yeah its mainly theory based. I had an exam on ICT about IT systems.

What a day! :D

Got Les Claypool's album  which is just as ace as I'd hoped. And Clutch's Robot Hive/Exodus, for £20 for both. Much cheaper than I was expecting from Virgin and two vaguely obscure records

PLUS .... HMV rang, I got the job :D It's a 16hr/week contract, and she knows for a fact that there are 22 and 1/2 hours a week going for the next six weeks.

I start at 10 on Sunday

Jev 06-06-2006 09:50 AM

Congrats.

Normally cds like that in Virgin cost £22 or something like that just for one.

My finger hurts from writing in the English exam

2muchket! 06-06-2006 09:51 AM

Mexican Bandito 06-06-2006 09:52 AM

Patrick O))) 06-06-2006 09:53 AM

Yeah, anything vaguely out-of-the-way music wise, HMV and Virgin go "ooooOOoOOOh, lets charge a millions pounds!"

Whoops. Mustn't upset the new bosses ...

30% at HMV, and it's 20% at either Borders or Waterstones, I can't remember which. I imagine I'll have to be there a bit before they give me the card

Anyways, I'm off to pick up my sister

2muchket! 06-06-2006 10:04 AM

Jev 06-06-2006 10:40 AM

I tried to get a job in Aldis.
You need to be 18. :(

2muchket! 06-06-2006 10:47 AM

Do they not have Lidl's down soufff then ?

Jev 06-06-2006 10:48 AM

Mind you the first Aldi I saw was when they built one in my town about 3 months ago.

tumples 06-06-2006 10:56 AM
Getting 20% off at borders is like being offered a work permit in germany

Seems liek a great deal, but all things considered you're no better off than you were before, whether or not you take up the offer

PAJJ 06-06-2006 01:59 PM

The internet's broken again, now how am i supposed to waste my money on stuff from eBay.

Mexican Bandito 06-06-2006 02:01 PM

how can it be broken if you're posting on here?! :p

What are you looking to buy on ebay? or are you just browsing?

PAJJ 06-06-2006 02:08 PM

This is like the only site that works, google, ebay, msn etc are dead.

I was bidding on a fender telecaster, but i think that's ended now :(

Mexican Bandito 06-06-2006 02:11 PM

Try a different server?

PAJJ 06-06-2006 02:20 PM

how would i go about doing that?
My computer knowledge stretches not much further then using my keyboard :(

Mexican Bandito 06-06-2006 02:31 PM

You could use Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera...

I don't know if using those would make any difference, but it's worth a try.

PAJJ 06-06-2006 02:41 PM

Thanks i shall give it ago.

edit: it didn't work :(

Jev 06-06-2006 02:50 PM

Internet seems to be dying lately.

Maybe one day we'll just find it gone...

Mexican Bandito 06-06-2006 02:53 PM

I'm all out of ideas then, sorry :(

Jev 06-06-2006 02:56 PM

I should listen to some NOFX.

yay.

PAJJ 06-06-2006 02:57 PM
Internet seems to be dying lately.
I'm all out of ideas then, sorry :(
