i can buy "legal" weed in cali and that doesn't change the fact that a good eighth of nug costs 50 or 60 bucks
with a prescription. it still costs a lot for me to get oxy, or any prescription drug and those are legal too. but if they were over the counter it would be different |
i wanna be able to buy weed as an appetizer at applebees
|
buy a pack of blunts get a dozen donuts free.
i wanna be able to buy weed as an appetizer at applebees
That would be so awesome. Weed brownies for desert. |
yes but when all of weed is legal imagine how flooded that market will be by all the weed that used to be ILLEGAL
now your local street corner dealer has to drop his prices because you can get weed anywhere... right now they can rip people off because of the novelty of "oh this is legal weed cool i won't get busted" but if yoou can NEVER get busted for it there is no reason for it to maintain a high price
Not necessarily. You're foolish to think the government will let some dude on a corner sell weed if they legalize it. They're gonna be all over that shit. Your drug dealer's still going to get arrested because it's going to be illegal to sell or buy weed anywhere but government-run stores. They're not taking a chance on missing out on some tax revenue. Especially in this down economy with a left-leaning president. The only reason it would ever be legalized is as a means of generating money via taxation. |
it's not foolish to imagine the united states adopting cannabis coffee shops. it's just an unlikely dream. i don't want the united states to make a federally run weed industry. that's not what i was saying i wanted at all.
|
The weed industry seems fine the way it is now, just don't get busted.
|
i also wish i could drink a beer while walking down the street
|
Drink a beer then walk down the street.
|
yeah i guess so, but i want to crack one open right out of the convenience store.
why wait |
Why not?

Why would the stores have to be government run? It would probably be legal to grow it and sell it or sell it with a license, random bro dealers would still be outlaws though. |
Why not?
i've done it before but it's sketchy when you live in the capital city. walking downtown with a beer in hand will get your license robbed. in nh though it's no big deal. i can do whatever i want wherever i want for the most part |
Public intoxication ftl.
Gotta keep the streets clean for the children, dontcha know. |
i don't want to be drunk in the streets even, i just want to be able to drink a beer while walking down the street.
|
Wait, can't you do that if it's in a paper bag or concealed or whatever?
|
yah sure you could
but it's still an open container and if a cop sees you he can still bust you. if a cop sees you drinking from a bag they will automatically be suspicious. |
drinking in public isnt that hard to get away with
|
you say that and it's kinda true, like at nights in ny i can walk down the street party to party with beers in hand and it's no big deal.
but if i was just walking around in the day with a beer in my hand a cop would stop me in probably less time than it takes me to finish it. |
