"Just Like You" by Three Days Grace was always a guilty pleasure for me.

Mute Print 09-03-2005 11:00 PM

Up until about a year ago, I was into a fair amount of mainstream rock and metal. I liked bands like Three Days Grace, Staind, Nickelback, and Metallica a lot.

I also really like Trapt and Smile Empty Soul. I still listen to them quite a bit. The new Trapt CD is one of the few rock/metal albums I plan to buy.

Understanding In a Crash 09-03-2005 11:02 PM

I still like Smile Empty Soul alot... and not embarassed by it. A really sexy bassist indeed.

Mute Print 09-03-2005 11:06 PM

Smile Empty Soul is really a good band. I saw them with Trapt last year, and they put on a great show. I'm really looking forward to a new album from them, but I haven't heard much about one.

cbmartinez 09-03-2005 11:06 PM

I was really into Linkin Park and Trust Company. I was listening to Disturbed yesterday too and I actually really dig some of the stuff.

Mute Print 09-03-2005 11:08 PM

Haha, I forgot about Disturbed. I used to be real into them. "Down With The Sickness" was my favorite song a few years ago.

I even downloaded their new album a few weeks back, but haven't had a chance to listen to it.

cbmartinez 09-03-2005 11:11 PM

My friend let me borrow Prayer back in 8th and I'm actually considering buying it or downloading it because it ruled so hard.

Do you mean Believe?

cbmartinez 09-03-2005 11:15 PM

Yeah, whatever. The best part in "Down With The Sickness" was the "no mommy, don't hit me like that" part. I was just like  the first time I heard it.

Mute Print 09-03-2005 11:16 PM

Believe is a solid album. I bought a while back, and still listen to it once in a while.

Understanding In a Crash 09-03-2005 11:19 PM

MattSharpIsCool 09-04-2005 12:42 AM

Well I missed the nu-metal discussion, but...

I <3 Disturbed, they rock my face. Also, old Korn is amazing. The lyrics and complete rockness of it.....Korn's new stuff is probably the worst music ever made though. System of a Down is one of my favorite bands, I love them with all of my heart and pee pee. Staind used to be one of my favorite bands...I havent listened to them in forever though, maybe I will.

Thats about the only nu-metal I like.

People who say that are lying. I mean who would post on a forum while they are drunk and having a party. Not me.

123. Apart from the Mcgrath bit. I agree with what Ian Bell said, if he's playing at the ovel and england win, then it will be a bigger win for england as they get the ashes with a full strenth Aus team. Im pissed that im gonna miss a vertualy all of thurs and fris play. Im hoping i have some afternoon frees so i could watch it at home.

Ganondorf 09-04-2005 05:15 AM

The thing is, England haven't beaten the full team yet, so it should be very interesting to see what happens

Untitled 09-04-2005 05:25 AM

They should of won at old trafford, but i think simon jones going off ment the chances of an aus wicket at the end where cut lots. Hopefully both team will be full, i wont mind a few aus injurys though.
