We pithed these cane toads, then cut their abdominal skin off to do a membrane experiment on, and since they were freshly pithed, you could see
their hearts were still beating, and their lungs were still inflated, and their limbs twitched when you cut a muscle. It was very Black Metal, I think. :p

(By the way, the toad's are completely dead, in every way.)

So I'm thinking the October 22nd show we're playing is gonna be realllly freakin' interesting. There's an industrial/death band called Butcherpriest comin' up from Nashville, they're supposed to have a lot of blood, guts, and naked chicks in their live show...Final Drive is playing last, we're playing first, and there's 7 other bands in between, which gives me good time to get hammer-smashed-face-ed from the free booze :lol: . Can't wait...

I'm going to see Alec Empire on Thursday. My first real RnM concert, should be interesting. Alec Empire plays industrial stuff, I reckon there will just be wierd Cyber Goths everywhere, We will stick out like sore thumbs in normal slothes :-/

hmm, i just got a rather large paycheck and want to go to guitar center to blow it, should i go for an acoustic guitar or a guitar synth rig.

Not sure, i want both, what do you lads think?

Do you already have an acoustic? If you do, I'd go for the rig. A nice 12 string might be nice, though...

Back in California, the local store was a money-sucking piece of sh[SIZE=2]i[/SIZE]t. They overcharged on EVERYTHING, went way over the list prices on most guitars and amps....

now that i have normal person hours, best buy is great. Got a doom band started up with a few co-workers. Should turn out interesting.

Wow, that;s too bad. The local places around here have good prices and try hard to get you exactly what you need. GC is still cheaper though, and I go there because it has a nuch better selection.

You might get something a lot closer to dance, depending on what his latest album's like (since I assume he'll be drawing mostly from that). I've not heard it; have you?

Man, with all the MXers with metal bands nowadays (me, Ollie, Byzantine, NJ), we should just do an MX metal show or tour. :lol: That'd be pretty cool.

Ollie - he picked a drummer (Dudley? I think is his name; the kid who can play pretty much anything, was up for both guitars and drums) and a guitarist (one of the girls, Jesse), took them to a concert to see what live guitar music is like (Placebo - some of them thought it was great, some of them still think rock music is pointless noise), debated (in a debate society) whether rock music has a place in their school and sang God Gave Rock'n'Roll To You with an acoustic guitar in the morning hymnal ceremony.
