Cool, thanks a lot, I'll have to upload it tomorrow though.
Nah, I'm good for music right now.

np: Neil Young - Harvest Moon. I like this song :)
I didn't follow the entire dicussion back, but I might as well start another one on this thread.

I don't like Neil Young alone that much. I don't know why. I have his album, Harvest, or whatever it's called - I'm not completely sure, I don't listen to it much..it's the one with Heart of Gold. The only songs I like are Heart of Gold and Old Man, or whatever the title may be.

I much prefer Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, over Young going solo, but that pretty much is the same for all soloist carreers, post-band breakup, like Clapton, both Page and Plant, et cetera.

ATM 07-02-2005 12:06 AM

I do love Neil Young's solo music, but I don't really listen to it that much. I'd rather put on some CSNY, just like you said.

JonG 07-02-2005 12:07 AM

I'd rather listen to CSN than CSNY, and rather listen to them instead of Neil Young. Although Helpless with Joni Mitchell on The Last Waltz was a lot better than his version on Deja Vu.

Illmatic 07-02-2005 12:09 AM

CSNY = Neil solo > CSN

I disagree, i actually prefer Neil Young's solo career over his CSNY days. Clapton i could go either way on.

Leper 07-02-2005 12:15 AM

dammit what happened to my avatar??

JonG 07-02-2005 12:15 AM

Clapton was the best with Cream, Derek and the Dominoes and the Bluesbreakers.

You have to re-upload it. :thumb:

Illmatic 07-02-2005 12:23 AM

I really don't like Eric Clapton's solo career at all.

JonG 07-02-2005 12:25 AM

Neither do I, he had some pretty cheesy songs.

Leper 07-02-2005 12:32 AM
You have to re-upload it. :thumb:
I realize that, it was really a useless post.

Glitterati 07-02-2005 12:36 AM

Clapton had some good solo stuff, but Cream >>>>>>>>>> so many other bands.

Leper 07-02-2005 12:41 AM
but Cream >>>>>>>>>> so many other bands.
and yet in such a short timeframe too.

rockinbass17 07-02-2005 07:24 AM

Cream> Clapton solo> Yardbirds, but all three are really good.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-02-2005 08:32 AM

Is Live 8 on?!?!?!?

InChains 07-02-2005 09:34 AM

what channel

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-02-2005 09:47 AM

MTV or VH1 but mine says it's maybe the Philadelphia Live 8 instead of the London one. The line up for the Philadelphia one is REALLY ****ty too. If they're not going to play the London one I'm going to EXTREMLY pissed.

Woodstock 07-02-2005 10:01 AM

It's on VH1 from 12 PM Eastern to 7 PM Eastern. You will see everything! So settle down.

Walrus Gumboot 07-02-2005 11:01 AM

It apears that they are doing highlights. I'll bet they won't get to PF until last, they want to keep everyone watching as long as possible

jpj 07-02-2005 11:13 AM

You can watch all the cities here http://music.aol.com/live_8_concert/live_now

They better show the entire Pink Floyd set. I'm afraid they'll just play one song as the highlight for Pink Floyd.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-02-2005 12:15 PM

Check out the CD's I may have just lost:

Pink Floyd - Meddle
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Love - Forever Changes
Grateful Dead - American Beauty
Bob Dylan - Bringing it All Back Home
Beatles - White Album (Disc 1)
Cream - Disreali Gears
Led Zeppelin - III (yes, I infact have a Zeppelin album)
The Doors - self titled
Pink Floyd - Live in Pompeii (DVD)
