Hey Laura, it really depends on how much you want to spend and hwo advanced you play. If you suggest a budget we could help you out a lot more :)

Jezen 02-09-2006 02:47 PM

I have a bad feeling that it might not want to stay down.

Janeway 02-09-2006 02:58 PM

Okay...
Does anyone think me not having an advanced regents diploma is going to limit me in my choice of colleges?
The only difference between a normal regents and an advanced is the passing of the Math B, and I didn't even take the course leading up to that exam because I knew I couldn't handle it.
I'm going to be getting just a normal regents with music honors.
I feel so lame...

Blank 02-09-2006 03:04 PM

Lame-o!

JK

That's actually really good eh?Why are you so bummed about it?

Corkofski 02-09-2006 03:07 PM

im trying to get into college with no gcse english...

Janeway 02-09-2006 03:10 PM

I dunno.
I just feel crappy.
I didn't take a lot of classes I wanted to take, instead I took AP classes that fuggled my schedule up and screwed me out of taking electives I cared about. It seems like all the crap I took in the AP classes wasn't worth it when I'm not even getting an advanced diploma because of it. Of course, it's going to make my first year of college a breeze.
Blech. I don't even know why I'm thinking about it. It's a tad late.

Blank 02-09-2006 03:11 PM

Just work with what you got. :thumb:
Or if you're not completely happy, can't you take summer school?

Win A Rabbit 02-09-2006 03:11 PM

so i had some of my mom's low carb/low everything food last night, and some low carb cereal this morning. ick. i hate the stuff.

and in my music class, i'm going to be lead snare drummer. the kid that i'm "replacing" has been in that class for 2 years now, but he doesn't practice rudiments or anything. luckily, that's pretty much all i've been doing for the last half year, so i'm ages ahead of him for snare work. he's been playing for 4 years, and he's one of those kids that thinks rudiments are boring and unimportant. he'd just rather sit down and play random stuff over and over again.
im trying to get into college with no gcse english...
I know someone who got like 2 A to C's at GCSEs (english not being one of them) and he got into my college. He just has to resit one GCSE.
