For their black metal stuff start with Transilvanian Hunger.

For the punk/black metal stuff F.O.A.D.

I find Dark Thrones and Black Flags better than FOAD.

They are both equally awesome

Any of you like Skogen? I read the review on [i]Vittra[/i] and it piqued my interest so I downloaded it. Pretty good stuff imo.

whats everyone's opinions of Naglfar? I've been listening to them a bit and it doesn't seem too bad. I'd have to say Diabolical is my fave right now.

They're not bad but not really anything spectacular imo, just kinda generic black/heavy metal, like a watered down Dissection or something.

i could see where that would make sense. I haven't really delved into the genre really heavily. I do have one album from Dissection though

i dont know it's a pretty average album, good gateway band though (same with naglfar i guess, though i havent listened to them in probably four years)

no, storm of the light's bane is still killer
naglfar is pretty average but i like them anyhow just because they sound like dissection

I'm not sure if you're going to like it. Its a lot of random noise, pauses, static, and then has some pretty good punk-ish BM parts sprinkled in here and there. Really weird stuff.
