I dont know how you get beyond a 4.0...
4.0 = A avg
3.0 = B avg
2.0 = C avg
1.0 = d and going into f avg

Me either, but I think my school may have a 5.0 grading system or something similiar, I couldn't be for certain though, I've never paid attention. Guess that's ok though, cause he sure liked it!

A lot of schools count an A+ as a 4.2, enabling your GPA to be higher than 4.0.
