You're still a kid to me.

The AS kiddies in my 6th form are n00bs when it comes to the Coffee machine. They don't realise that to get change they have to press a button, so in the the past few days I've had 2 free coffee's and about 50p in change to go with it, which was spent on a Twix.

as far as 'kids' food goes : cadburys buttons>kinder suprise

GurS 09-17-2005 12:09 PM

So, I've written what I consider to be the best lyrics that I have ever written. It's Lenny Cohen-influenced (of course), but I think it's more Lenny-influenced in terms of the themes and the 'feel' then the actual words themselves.

Crit plz?

[quote=Fred 'Puppy' Samuel]This Hallowed Place

Scrambling in the dark of a cold, bitter night,
Searching for the eerie, haunting tones of songs unknown
This twilight void that all men fear to face without light
Hold a deep attraction for the one who is alone.

Melancholy seeps through the cracks in the walls
As the laments of these broken dreams fill solitary ears.
Footsteps echo 'round the long-abandoned holy halls
Whilst the tortured bathe in pools of icy frozen tears.

Can you see the image of yourself hidden in this song?
Does this call bring back the mem'ries of when you were still strong?
You are not the only one who knows this hallowed place.
You are not the only one with tears rolling down your face.

As far as blurry vision can stretch, only the void exists,
Emptiness stacking upon emptiness like books upon a shelf.
The only muffled sound that reaches is silence in the midst
Of shadows that once were called people before they found themselves.

Can you see the image of yourself hidden in this song?
Does this call bring back the mem'ries of when you were still strong?
You are not the only one who knows this hallowed place.
You are not the only one with tears rolling down your face.

Not everything that's born of love has fled and gone away.
There is still kindness in the hearts of those too blind to see.
But for us, the faceless masses, we have become truly free,
Free to fall and hate ourselves for believing we could pray.

Can we see the image of ourselves hidden in this song?
Does this call bring back the mem'ries of when we all were strong?
We are not the only ones who knows this hallowed place.
We are not the only ones with tears rolling down your face.
Can we see the image of ourselves hidden in this song?
Can we remember a time before we knew that we were wrong?
We are not the only ones to leave this hallowed place.
We are not the only ones to hate our very face.
