Go big or go home... bro.
Meth is a real man's drug.

And usually a lot of hookers'.

whiteminority 05-27-2009 12:41 AM

hard drugs are the greatest thing ever.

but they're not for everyone.

pixiesfanyo 05-27-2009 12:43 AM

hard as my drugzzzz

boundbytransience 05-27-2009 12:45 AM

Flesh likes his drugs like he likes his men.

McP3000 05-27-2009 02:04 AM

tbh weed and alcohol is good enough for me

pigletopeth 05-27-2009 02:20 AM

alcohol is good - not hard tho.

Matt? 05-27-2009 03:15 AM

drugs are alright. some people make a big deal out of anything. i'd be fine never taking any non prescription drugs again, although i do like them.

pigletopeth 05-27-2009 04:09 AM

this thread reminds me of High School

I ripped All Our Tomorrows End Today from the vinyl to my mac. I believe it wasn't released on CD and that the files floating on the net did not take into account of the RIAA curve. On vinyl they add 17dB at 15 kHz, and cuts 17 dB at 50 Hz. They do this to keep the needle from skipping because of the low frequencies. So I fixed this and added 17 dB at 50 Hz and cut 17 dB at 15 kHz. It was also fairly quiet so I gained the level up a few dB. Here it is.

the mp3 version i have of it is a little quiet but its good enough, god that album rules so much

whiteminority 05-27-2009 10:59 PM

that **** came out right around the time i got into screamo, weird to think that that was 4 years ago.

kitsch 05-27-2009 11:07 PM

i know, ****'s so tight.

thought it would be helpful for fellow audiophiles.

Iluvatar 05-27-2009 11:13 PM
how so? all the **** is out on cd.
i dont buy cds. i prefer the way vinyl sounds. ill download the mp3 or the FLAC/WAV if i really like it, but when i purchase something, anymore its always on vinyl.

i find skramz esp. better on vinyl.

boundbytransience 05-27-2009 11:26 PM

I have around 20 vinyl records and no turntable.
:'(

Why must they be so expensive?

kitsch 05-27-2009 11:27 PM

maybe for 1st pressings sure, but i bough dance tonight! revolution tomorrow! for like 3.99 and all of their other records for less than 15.

i dont have any of their splits though.

whiteminority 05-27-2009 11:32 PM

the splits are what will get ya.

the lps are easily obtainable, i agree.

the most expensive was the demo, but it was a one-time thing for it to show up so i didn't give a ****.

i got dance tonight, chaos in me, orchid and gatefold for like 25 total over the course of about a year at a record shop. i thought about trying to pick up some of the splits but eh too much of an investment
