Actually we celebrate sinterklaas [i]and[/i] christmas. Sinterklaas is on 5 december and christmas on the 25th.

Yeah, I don't really get the Dutch culture either, lol. Costs loads of money to buy gifts for both occasions.
I think the sinterklaas tradition will probably disappear at some point in the future, though. People (mostly white folks, ironically) are complaining about Sinterklaas having black 'slaves'.
