GurS 12-01-2004 04:28 PM

good evening people.

So, we suggesting authorities for everyone? safe. Who wants to make the suggestion to the mods?

Also:

Bring your daughter... we decided to do because the crowd can get REALLY into it (SEE: Live At Donnington) and stuff. It's be great if at gigs people started clapping along in time and if we did "when i say bring your daugther, you say fetch your daughter" (again, SEE: Live At Donnington). It;s a fun song to play, too. Of course, I have the hardest part to play. **** you Nicko, with your irregular ride patterns! *shakes fist*

Arucard 12-01-2004 04:29 PM

yeh i would love them to play download it would just be like
/Buy tickets
maiden get to much flack for their cornier songs, but i think their just as good

Thunder Fingers 12-01-2004 04:35 PM
good evening people.
well, you can... :p you suggested the whole thing anyway... :naughty:

Arucard 12-01-2004 04:41 PM

you maiden authority guys do a good job.
one day if the authority expands, i would like to join, or if i post in here more
i voted for all maiden songs in the polls so far, where i could
how about u guys

GurS 12-01-2004 04:43 PM

^ as did I.

Seeing as frail does not return, I'm all for considering getting a fourth. Don't know bout the others.

True stuff: Maiden are one of all only three bands to get all their Round One songs into Round Two (the others being Hendrix and Tool)

Arucard 12-01-2004 04:45 PM

Because the maiden authority, plus me and some others, seem to love maiden that much. I swear, HBTN better ****ing win

Thunder Fingers 12-01-2004 04:51 PM

Lord Abortion is next one in line in that case :p but i dont think we could have more than 4, becouse then about everyone who posts here would be the authority...

Arucard 12-01-2004 04:54 PM

how do you find out who has the most posts?
and i really wanted to do a maiden FA, but someone else has dibsed it
have u guys read my killers review? it seems no one has bothered. lol

GurS 12-01-2004 04:55 PM

well, I don't know if we need four yet. But I don't think it should exclusviely go in order of post amount - it should go in order of Maiden-y knowledge and the respect they have within the thread. After all, you're not going to be very authoritive if you have no respect and therefore no-one cares what you say, are you :p

GurS 12-01-2004 04:56 PM

I read it and posted in it.

Do the same for my S/T review :p

Riva is doing the FA, who's also consulting the MA in regards to extra tidbits of knowledge.

Arucard 12-01-2004 04:58 PM

oh thats good then, i like riva hes a cool guy
btw i rep ++ you guys for keeping maiden alive
vote for HBTN the poll is up guys

Thunder Fingers 12-01-2004 04:59 PM

GurS 12-01-2004 05:00 PM

^ I was thinking that.

GurS 12-01-2004 05:00 PM

Riva 12-01-2004 07:28 PM

Ok, the Maiden FA is nearly done. Once I have finished it, I shall be e-mailing the rough draft to both Medopalis and anyone of the Maiden Authority who cares to read it. :thumb:

Lord Abortion 12-02-2004 04:13 AM

uh oh...
*bump*
bring your daughter... rules
real live dead one version works well
liking the crowd involvement...

shadow_stalker 12-02-2004 04:24 AM

the sound on a real live dead one is poor compared to the likes of rock in rio

Lord Abortion 12-02-2004 04:26 AM
the sound on a real live dead one is poor compared to the likes of rock in rio
Here's my vore for the extra MA member:

1) YDload
2) Lord Abortion
3) HeavyRiva
4) Sack Man
5) 88_fingers_joe.

So who's gonna do the "Authority" suggestion to the mods?

Has been done... it would really be great if the regulars from this thread posted in the thread to approve of your support. YDLoad and Riva already put in their support, and, seeing as they're 4-star members, this should help, but obviously the more that say it's a good idea, the more that the powers that be shall take the idea on board

Arucard 12-02-2004 02:22 PM

i reckon the authority is a good idea, but the only bands i have a ridiculous knowledge on are the filaments, pro-pain and of course maiden, so i guess i would be at a loss.

shadow_stalker 12-02-2004 02:23 PM

what is the maiden authority?

Arucard 12-02-2004 02:24 PM
what is the maiden authority?
the three most knowladable people in this thread, who know more about maiden than everyone else, and they moderate maiden discussions and stuff.

ashman 12-02-2004 02:25 PM
:thumb: my names on there!
anywho, just got back from band practice, what you guys been up to
No Problem, you seem to know what your talking about...

I just been on my daily drinking session, I met this cool barman, who told me how to down aftershock properly, it had more of a kick than 85% Absinthe. It was 'kin Ace. Oh and I need to check how much it's gonna cost me to go to Paris in June to see the Hallowed band...

Gur: I think just about every poster in this thread agrees with the idea.

GurS 12-02-2004 02:25 PM

That's the proposal we're putting forward, to give you a brief ideas about what our authority is.

GurS 12-02-2004 02:26 PM

Joe got it in one, very succint might I add.

shadow_stalker 12-02-2004 02:26 PM

then i wouldnt say sack-man no offense to him but i know him and the amount of knowledge he has about maiden

and as for lord_abortion any kind of authority would just go striaght to his head

GurS 12-02-2004 02:28 PM

I was thinking YDLoad but he doesn't know enough about Maiden, or so he syas.

Thunder Fingers 12-02-2004 02:29 PM
http://www.musicianforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=271984
 now i felt somewhat stupid, i realy dont know why, i just did :p

anyway, nice GurS!

Arucard 12-02-2004 02:31 PM

meh.
well in the end, it will come down to respect and knowledge, i think that even though i havent posted here much, it all comes down to what you say
(IE. revelations being the best dickinson era song)
i totally support the idiea of authorities
what does succint mean?
