What do you want? I have Bazooka Tooth & Labor Days if you want.

gmoneyguy 12-02-2007 07:48 PM

If you could send me them that would be great. I can give you None Shall Pass and rep++

Tyler 12-02-2007 07:51 PM

I like Labor Days but I only listen to it when I have the lyrics handy now.

gmoneyguy 12-02-2007 07:59 PM

Why is that?

Tyler 12-02-2007 08:09 PM

The lyrics are my favourite aspect of the album.

gmoneyguy 12-02-2007 08:10 PM

oh ok,

Rams 12-02-2007 08:24 PM

Acey

gmoneyguy 12-02-2007 08:26 PM

"I wanna ask you one question
If I had some nuts, hangin on the walls, what did I have honey?"
I said, "Darling you'd have some walnuts."
She said, "Well.. daddy if I had some nuts
on my chest, would those be chestnuts?"
I said, "Hell yes!"
She said, "Well daddy if I had nuts under my chin
would those be chin-nuts?"
I said, "Hell no bitch you'd have a dick in your mouth!"

Prince Ali (both of them) is awesome.

40 oz 2 freedom 12-04-2007 03:55 PM

Came in here to post this ^

Sucks

Ghostfire3 12-04-2007 04:03 PM

Alright, this has probably been discussed before in this thread but out of curiosity what do you prefer, East Coast or West Coast.

On the East Coast you got acts like A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Mobb Deep, The Notorious B.I.G., Wu-Tang Clan, etc.

On the West Coast you got the G-Funk era and acts like 2Pac, N.W.A., Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, etc.

So what's your flavor?

gmoneyguy 12-04-2007 04:05 PM

I tend to lean west coast.

40 oz 2 freedom 12-04-2007 04:10 PM

Nyc

CarnageFairy 12-04-2007 04:12 PM

East coast, not suprising I guess since I live there.

The Door Mouse 12-04-2007 04:22 PM

East coast.

AA-12 12-04-2007 04:28 PM

Honestly, i'm 50/50. If I said I had a favorite i'd be lieing.

ATM 12-04-2007 04:42 PM

What the ****, Bun-B dead?

that **** is crazy, they were just breaking through too

pulseczar 12-04-2007 04:44 PM

Pimp C, not Bun B, learn your alphabet!

ATM 12-04-2007 04:58 PM

oops

well my sentiment still stands

kyle6677 12-04-2007 06:33 PM

love both, but East Coast tops West for me

ATM 12-04-2007 06:46 PM

I love east and south the most.

Ghostfire3 12-04-2007 09:32 PM

Yeah, I must say I find myself listening to more East Coast rappers than West Coast, although I love both sides.

badtaste 12-04-2007 11:57 PM

West Coast. I love the aggressive, pumping side of things, rather than the laid back stuff.

Apocalyptic Raids 12-05-2007 12:17 AM

East coast.

Ghostfire3 12-05-2007 01:01 AM

Damn I'm surprised. For some reason I figured more people would say West Coast.

Wyko 12-05-2007 08:03 AM

East Coast, and Rest in Peace to Pimp C. I've been into Bun B's solo album for a while and just started listening to UGK's latest :(.

sgrevs 12-06-2007 02:04 AM

I'm probably a bit more into East, but not by much. I dig both more than South though, but really when you take the best from each, its hard say which is best.

RIP Pimp C

What do you guys suggest like Young Cheesy?

llama1600 12-10-2007 10:26 PM

^ That video's hilarious

back to the discussion, I'd take East coast every day of the week.

Gonads 12-13-2007 01:05 PM

West Coast is where it's at, California Love Muther Fudga.

Wyko 12-13-2007 02:47 PM

New Lupe's great after one spin. Anyone here heard it yet?

AA-12 12-13-2007 02:49 PM

I've only heard Superstar but I really like it.

ATM 12-14-2007 09:41 AM

Lupe isn't for me.

I just bought Hieruspecs - Tiger Dancing, any fans?

pixiesfanyo 12-14-2007 03:45 PM

yes
New Lupe's great after one spin. Anyone here heard it yet?
yeah, I'm about halfway through, and I'm really surprised.

I expected it to be pretty solid, nothing great, but I'm really liking it a lot.

Mm after like 2 and a half listens so far now, I'm... yeah... not like dissapointed, because don't get me wrong, it isn't a bad album but... There's not much news going on. And I haven't really listened to the concept part of it but that seems kinda lame too + It's too long for Lupe to handle. But thank god it doesn't have a ****ing 15 minutes shout out part again.

iarescientists 12-16-2007 08:07 PM

yeah, it definitely is too long, but all the individual songs are very good.

llama1600 12-17-2007 08:16 PM

So far, I'm enjoying it about the same way I enjoyed Food and Liquor, all of it's good, but it's just not a great overall. I'm loving "Dumb it Down" though.
