They're illegal here, too. I order the chemicals offline (Skylighter.com, unitednuclear.com) and build my own. I make my own mortar shells and casings and stuff...it's so fun. Cops have yet to yell at me, and the FBI is yet to knock on my door :D

I <3 pyrotechnics/chemistry.

I usually just buy fireworks in New Hampshire and bring them home (if we go there, we stay for a few days, so it's not that suspicious).

-Gav
Woo, New Hampshire. Live Free or Die, baby! Boston 'pwns' NH any day of the week though.

*goes to school in Boston, but is from Manchester NH, originally from Detroit*

*realizes that was the longest ** expression ever*

*stops talking*

Foxfire 08-17-2004 01:14 PM

My brother got pissed because I yelled at him, so he has a backpack and says he's going to run away.

So I tried to joke around with him and hit 911 so it showed up on the phone (did NOT hit dial). And then the cops called. >_<

AfroMan 08-17-2004 01:19 PM

Well this is it..........................

The end of the summer holidays:upset:

Wintermute 08-17-2004 01:34 PM

I've only moved twice, but they were major ones.

Lancashire, UK ---> Nim Wan, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong ---> Lancashire, UK

Now THAT'S culture shock.

Edit - Afroman - the summer holiday lasts until October. Hurray for University!

Foxfire 08-17-2004 01:38 PM

I need a video of Wooten playing MEAMBG.
I don't know yet, really. I mean, they're telling her like "We think you have it. But in order to be 100% positive, we have to do a biopsy." So she has to go in and get some marrow taken out of her hip on Wednesday (which I understand isn't the greatest feeling in the world.) And from that, they will be able to tell her 100% that she has it, and they'll give her the treatment options. So I'm still holding onto the small chance that she might not have it. I don't know if I'm fooling myself or what though.

This is just so crazy. Ive never had anything like this happen before, and it's not even happening to me. I mean, I love this girl. I love her as if she were my sister, a part of my family. And to think that she might die and there's nothing anyone can do about it scares the hell out of me. Everything else I could do something about, ya know? I could fix it. But I can't do a **** thing now.

Note: when you're feeling depressed, do not listen to The Weakerthans.

joe
I'm really sorry Joe to hear that, and I know what you're feeling...it's like everytime you wake up you wish it was all a bad dream, and when you find out it isn't you're even more tired..I dunno...it's wierd and wicked in a way but this sort of things makes you appreciate more your life, it's as if you became a much more grateful man, every breath starts to count. And don't feel selfish, dead happens to us for a reason and it happens to everybody; it gives closure so that you can reflect and ponder your life to go on with whatever is at the other side. Your friend needs support, tons of it, but try (as hard as it may sound) not to interfere with her process, she might die or not, and that's something beyond our control, but there's a lot of learning ahead, and somethings you can only learn by yourself, alone.

The Fender Bassman 300:

300 watts of pure tube power into 2 ohms!
w channels clean/Gain
10 band Eq for a qasi 3rd channel
vintage styling with a modern touch
the only bad thing is it cost 1,200 dollars, a couple hundred less than the SVT-300 CL
wich has simular features.

then i run it into this:
