Well, now we can ridicule skinnedmonkey for shopping at Hot Topic.
wtf, I don't shop there? what gave you that idea?

Ghostfire3 10-12-2005 04:40 PM

Is there any way to make jeans fade, cause I wanna do that with a few pairs of mine.

mole 10-12-2005 04:44 PM

acid wash

Ghostfire3 10-12-2005 04:47 PM

Where do I get acid wash from?

Liebensaft 10-12-2005 04:49 PM

A hippie is good for acid, but definitely not the wash part.

Ghostfire3 10-12-2005 05:25 PM
A hippie is good for acid, but definitely not the wash part.
True, but that doesn't help me.

Liebensaft 10-12-2005 05:57 PM

If I knew anything about acid wash, I would help you.

asdf 10-12-2005 06:00 PM

I'm pretty sure there was something about acid washing a jean jacket a few pages back. Not sure, though.

I have some acid wash pants that were my dad's from the 80's. I don't wear them, because they don't fit.

Tomorrow I'm showing school spirit and dressing up for 80's day in all my mom's authentic 80's stuff. She kinda dressed like a punk back in the day, and that's how I'll be dressing. the dress looks really DIY, but it actually isn't, which is too bad.
He meant Hot Topic, silly. That's the number one punX store and it's totally not corporate, and they are totally not fashiionable.
**** no! I would never shop at hot topic, who the **** is hot topic anyway? ( I saw that on a shirt once and I'm gonna make my own DIY version of it soon) and I meant stores like in the city that sell **** like leather jackets, skin tight tappered pants and **** of that sort.

I don't appreciate all the swearing. Even though it's bleeped out, I'm still offended. I'm going to kindly ask you to please, tone it down.

RudeBoyStompin 10-12-2005 09:26 PM

I have a concern that I'd like to address. So I'm going to make a t-shirt out of my Banksy stencil (I ended up cutting another one that was larger). Anyway, I went to a hobby shop and they didn't have regular fabric paint. They did however have this stuff called fabric medium which you're supposed to mix with acrylic paint and it will work on fabric. I figure I'd get it since I'm going to need a bunch of colors (for the flowers) that I'm not going to end up using on fabric much after this one, but I can still use the paint just for making a painting of some sort. They were also pretty cheap so I picked them up. Has anyone used acrylic paint instead of fabric paint on clothing and/or used it with this fabric medium stuff? Does it work well? Does it go through the wash? I know that guy at the hobby shop said to not use bleach. Any input would be much appreciated.
plus when you tell a girl you can sew they're all over you. Best part of listening to punk is sewing.
My girlfriend swes for me because I'm useless

Yesterday she sewed my Rock the 40oz patch on that she lent me three bucks to buy.

But I don't feel bad because today she stabbed me in the finger with my own knife and it bled for like 10 minutes.

Liebensaft 10-12-2005 10:12 PM

Awww. That's love.

Anarchy&Peace 10-13-2005 12:43 AM

Anyone know how to carve pipes? like smoking pipes...yeah

Culture Shock 10-13-2005 11:03 AM
Anyone know how to carve pipes? like smoking pipes...yeah
No, but I know how to buy one. I love smoking tobacco. If you really want to make one make it out of clay.

Liebensaft 10-13-2005 12:26 PM

You could just buy a corncob pipe, made for tobacco at anywhere. They sell them in Rite-Aid, 2 blocks from my house.

And as for the clay thing, it doesn't go over well with ceramics teachers, or so I've been told.

AIRIC 10-13-2005 01:29 PM

Or just buy a glass one. I know the place local to me does not ID.

Culture Shock 10-13-2005 03:12 PM

I guess it really depends on what he wants to smoke.

AIRIC 10-13-2005 03:12 PM

If I had to guess, it's pot.

Anarchy&Peace 10-13-2005 11:29 PM

Yeah is pot, i've used a few glass ones but i think it would be cool to carve a wooden one. As for the clay do i need a special type of clay and how hot do you need to get it to get solid?

Abandon all hope 10-13-2005 11:32 PM

not at all well with the ceramics teachers, but you can always make "salt shakers" and then alter them after there done firing.........yeah im in ceramics...

OI! to the World! 10-13-2005 11:32 PM

I got real lazy and bought some pants. I die now.

skankthenspank 10-14-2005 11:42 AM

I buy a lot of my pants from the Salvation Army and alter them.

OI! to the World! 10-14-2005 01:45 PM

I have a bunch i've cut and sewn up but they're not comfortable at all.

Ghostfire3 10-14-2005 04:42 PM
I buy a lot of my pants from the Salvation Army and alter them.
I really want to try and do that, but I know I'll completely screw them up.

Anarchy&Peace 10-14-2005 04:53 PM

So about that pipe, do i need a certain type of clay or ceramic for it and how hot does it need to get to be solid?

Jessizzle 10-14-2005 04:59 PM
