I can barely eat McDonald's, and either way they're literally the worst cheeseburgers around (in my town we had Wendy's and a bazillion local subshops).

ATM 04-16-2005 03:40 PM

I eat a lot of chinese food.

Ray: I can upload some more Radiohead tomorow if you want it. Have you seen Beck's new video for E-Pro? It is so good.

I think McDonalds cheeseburgers are so much better than Burger King. I like Wendy's the best though out of the main burger fast food places. Overall i would have to go with Taco Bell though.

Illmatic 04-16-2005 03:43 PM

I don't think there was a Burger King in my town, so...yeah. I actually don't think I've ever eaten at BK, so I can't comment.

There's a BBQ joint about 20-30 minutes away from my house, so I would go there when I could. There were lots of good Chinese, Mexican, and Italian places, as well as a ton of good subshops (read: good steak and cheese subs).

I'm suddenly homesick again

Wow...he must have been spamming like crazy...

because a few weeks ago he only had like under 300 posts...

And to top it off, the guy is a fucking idiot as well.
anyone that has over 1,000 posts in their first 4 months has no life...
That is incorrect. Though I have no life, it is easy to get 100 posts in an hour or two. This translates to 10-20 hours over five months, not at all someone who has no life, but rather someone who comes on maybe 15-30 minutes a day. :)

Yes, he is, I think he got a merger though.

I feel no need to justify myself to you, but I can let you know that even though I have a lot of posts, I do have a life.

I just stay up very, very late :/

I just read the first page of his "irony" thread...

It provides two things :

1. proves he is an idiot
2. he said Plexi messed with his post count

Edit : Nevermind, didn't see Jums post.

lunch998 04-16-2005 04:08 PM

I, on the other hand, have neither a life nor a large postcount(relative to my join date).

Arucard 04-16-2005 04:10 PM

Alright guys. Hows it going?

lunch998 04-16-2005 04:12 PM

I just had McDonalds. It was delicious.

Cain 04-16-2005 04:13 PM

Me and joe have lives, as we are some of a few Aug '04 regulars that still have under 5,000 posts. :)

Arucard 04-16-2005 04:14 PM

We sure do Cain. 'Cause we are also guitar virtuoso's.

I've been using drop C tuning lately...I don't like it...too bad so many new bands use it :(

EDIT: McDonalds is subpar. Wendys pwns.

And my August 2003 has only 39 posts!

I've been using drop C tuning lately...
Does that not make it like 100% harder to play songs on?? I mean all the frets would be different
(Is a standard tuning fanboy)

:D **** straight.

Although one might think that practicing one's *** off on guitar is just another way of not having a life. But I would be inclined to disagree. :)

You should probobly get some higher guage string then.

Cain 04-16-2005 04:21 PM
You should probobly get some higher guage string then.
The thing that blows the most about guitar is by far intonation. It doesn't hold up with drastic changes in tuning, and that's what you need to play a lot of modern bands' songs. The biggest thing I don't get is why low tunings are always considered to be sooo heavy. Bands like Opeth do great in standard, and lots of others do too. Your distorted tones get a lot muddier and gainy-sounding because you have to increase it to get any sort of clarity or crunch.

LarsAgi007 04-16-2005 04:22 PM
You should probobly get some higher guage string then.
Why is that?? I just thought it was the sound and general feel of the guitar that was affected by the guage?? Not the actual notes themselves??

I find Drop-D works for heavy :D

Crispy Chicken meal. With a Coke. The fries were good today, too.

When u have like 10's on yur guitar and u put it in c the string are very loose and the sound isnt as good, and they are harder to handle.

If u have like 11's the downtuning is way easier to handle and better sounding.
