The RED SOX WON!!!! I am so happy man. I've been waiting for them to destroy the Yankees, and they DID!!!!

10-****ing 3!!!!!!

YEAHHHHH! WOOOOOO!

Permanent Solution 10-20-2004 11:10 PM

Meh...baseball<hockey

:upset::(

Cain 10-20-2004 11:15 PM

Grrrr.......you don't like baseball? omg, teh fightin is aboot to commencez!!!!!

C'mon, this is serious sports history right there. The Sox are one of only four teams in American national sports HISTORY to come from a 3-0 deficit to force game 7 and then win it!!! And although the curse isn't officially broken yet, the Red Sox are well on their way: they can take either Houston or St. Louis any day. I mean, that was it right THERE. They haven't even made it to the series since '86, which was when my personal team The METS decided to kill them in the last game. But since the Mets suck more cock than a hooker, I throw my lot in with the similarly frequently disappointed Red Sox as the real contenders to wipe out those god**** assholes from Manhattan. Even if hockey is better than baseball in your mind, you can't deny that this was an earthquake in the firmament of sports history.

Baseball and hockey are suprisingly small in Australia. Over here, it's mainly Aussie Rules, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Cricket..... and Netball!

Meh...baseball is boring regardless of the history it makes :p
Meh...baseball is boring regardless of the history it makes :p
You have never experienced tension headaches, panic, or wonderful elation like what I and millions of other people experienced while watching this decisive game. Nuff said.

Just because it isn't the fastest-paced game doesn't mean it's boring. Look at Sigur Ros: they have the slowest beats on the face of the earth, and it engages me every second.

Of course, if you don't like Sigur Ros, that's a real bad example. :p

Permanent Solution 10-20-2004 11:30 PM

Nope, I have not. Indeed...I rarely get that feeling from other people's accomplishments regardless, and if I do, it is indeed momentous.

Who is Sigur Ros?
I love those Flamin' Hot Cheetos a lot...If I eat too many, my mouth gets like a burning inferno and man it is a BITCH!

However, I haven't had cheetos in a long time...I loved the puffy ones...
Those are awesome, but I have built up a resistance to the spiceyness of them.

We have also been eating them since we were little kids.

Riva 10-21-2004 04:37 PM

I can't handle really spicy food. However, I do love sweet chilli, and I love eating capsicum by itself.

Uh..Who cares? Since when did sports make history? There are a lot more important things than who can run around in a square and not get hit by some ball. Get a girlfriend.

Riva 10-21-2004 04:49 PM

Wow, you are not very smart.

Eitri Is Berserk 10-21-2004 05:19 PM

 This thread delivers.

/realises he isn't in The Pit... :upset:

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 05:40 PM

You are more likely to get a girlfriend from baseball, then posting on an internet forum.

Riva 10-21-2004 05:43 PM

Meanwhile, I saw you and KingOfDudes collaborating in the "which MXer is the bigger fan of which band". Shameful. Way to take advantage of your "realtionship".

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 05:45 PM

I didn't really know anyone elses. If I did, I would have posted it.

Don't worry. The town you live in is probably twice the size of the town I live in.

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 05:49 PM

I doubt that.

Riva 10-21-2004 05:49 PM

How many people live in your town?

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 05:50 PM

> 10, 000. What about yours.

Riva 10-21-2004 05:52 PM

Bugger. I have 90,000.

/I lose this thread.

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 05:55 PM

Thats a fairly decent sized town. How many High Schools are in it?

Riva 10-21-2004 06:05 PM

5. Ranging from 4000 kids to about 1000.

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 06:06 PM

That how my old town was.

Riva 10-21-2004 06:07 PM
