R.A.M.B.O. probably gets discussed in this thread more than any other band. And there's a good reason for that, they r00l.

AIRIC 03-12-2006 04:46 PM
R.A.M.B.O. > your opinion
I like R.A.M.B.O. a lot..

I was just saying that song is pretty funny.

Scabies 03-12-2006 04:52 PM

am i the only one who pretty much only comes on here for this thread nowadays?

clustifux 03-12-2006 06:15 PM

nope...i come here only for this thread and the crust thread....which is dying.

Edit: Oh yeah..and im seeing napalm death tonight in about three hours. Its them kreator and a few more metal bands. Its gonna be dope.

AIRIC 03-12-2006 06:20 PM

We should just merge the 2 threads. We talk about grind in the crust thread and crust in this thread so it's not really a big deal.

NewKindofArmy03 03-12-2006 06:26 PM
The R.A.M.B.O. song Sophomore Effort is so confusing. It starts out sounding like it's going to be a pop-punk song and then the vocals come in, then it goes back to pop-punk.
I love that song. My friend told me the other day its a joke song about selling out.

AIRIC 03-12-2006 06:27 PM

I liked it too, it just sounds so funny with the pop-punk riff and RAMBO vocals.

DaveToopes 03-12-2006 06:30 PM

I agree.

haha, yeah, I was just messing with you.

DaveToopes 03-12-2006 07:15 PM

Even when you're messing with people they put their tails between their legs and take it. JAtomic is the definition of gruff.

AIRIC 03-12-2006 08:13 PM

He seriously is. J is scary even on the internet.

Feel The Darkness 03-12-2006 09:24 PM

hahaha, I'm the anti-gruff, but I guess I'll take that as a compliment.

WAR ANTI-GRUFF THRASHING SKINHEADS!
Music isn't about making money. It's about having your voice heard, and expressing your ideas. Fans and support are more important than how much you're pulling in.
No, no; it's, uh, about the money.

This thread is my whole reason for existence.

Go to the DLD myspace an listen to the last song. It's us if we were chipmunks.

This sucks, Bodies In The Gears Of The Apparatus broke up.
"Bodies In The Gears Of The Apparatus have decided to call it quits, vocalist Josh Vitale commented on the matter saying:

"We're all very upset to see this band go, but for now, this is the best decision we could decide on. We will all be in other bands, most likely not with each other. We had a lot of critics both positive and negative - both of which made us stronger people and we'd like to send out our thanks to those many who angered and inspired us enough to work harder , moreover, we want to thank everyone who supported this musical project for the past three years. Finally, thank you so much for making this a wonderful and unforgettable experience."
The bullentin continued for anyone who wants to a band...
ok now that everyone knows whats going on......
I am looking for drummers and guitar players. New project in the works, I am looking to make this project my primary focus. I have awesome, motivated and talented people coming together to work with me and I am honored, lucky and excited. However, I require yet another guitar player and a drummer who can not only haul *** on the BPMs (especially the bass drums), but can be creative/odd/original.

Enquiring parties MUST:

1. Live near/move to Tampa/St.Pete/Clearwater FL. area.
2. Have decent equipment, or ****ty equipment that works reliably and sounds awesome.
3. Be willing and able to commit to at least four practices a week.
4. Be willing and able to commit to a 3 month on, 2 month off tour schedule once the songs are solidified.
5. This music is going to be as bizarro as it is brutal and heavy; as well, the members are stable but weird people, so you must be chill and open minded.
6. Must love to write and play amazing music with no doubts about their abilities or goals.

Practice space will be provided. If you do not live in our area and we decide mutually to work together, temporary housing can be provided. Won't be luxurious, but it will be free.

Interested? Like white rice and peanut butter sandwiches?

clustifux 03-13-2006 03:57 PM

Kids, check out Network of Terror, an amazing crusty anarcho-grind band from North Carolina. I saw 'em tonight and it ruled. After the show, we partied and had dumpstered-banana smoothies...

http://myspace.com/networkofterror

Liner notes to their cd: "WE ARE LOVECORE. XOXO. **** MACHISMO. WE WANT GODDAMN HUGS IN THE PIT." And boy were there ever some crucial hugs...

RetiredAt21 03-14-2006 08:35 AM

Hahahahaha, crucial hugs.

Fritz Plays Bass 03-14-2006 11:34 AM

Network Of Terror = awesome.

RetiredAt21 03-14-2006 11:55 AM

Yeah man, Network Of Terror is a really great band.

I want a crucial hug.

AndreTheHyena 03-14-2006 07:53 PM

There were also ticklepits at that show.

I'm playing a show with them this July, supposedly. They're hooking us up when we go on our tour in the South.

It's going to be one of the most ridiculous line-ups ever.

Gnarmageddon 03-14-2006 08:20 PM

Phobia tribute album.

Noiseterrorist 03-15-2006 08:12 AM

What exactly is a ticklepit? Is it exactly what it sounds like?
