No i don't have a problem with people who are patriotic, i have a problem with people who after England win something become as i said obnoxious, and talk about England like it's the greatest just because we one some sports trophy.
You're probably right that i'm too extreme about my hatred of it, but I've seen it first hand to many times, people and using a sports win as some sort of excuse to be superior, and abusive to other people, and i'm just fed up with it, it pisses me off.
I get you man, we all feel the same about football hooliganism and alike.

But you have to understand that to some people, sadly [both literally and metaphorically], winning a sports trophy is actually all some people have.

Mexican Bandito 06-03-2006 12:27 PM

Yeah. I just tasted too damn good. I don't get indigestion I'lll just feel really bloated for the next few hours and burp loads :upset:
Bloody China people!!

Squirrel 06-03-2006 12:37 PM

Chinese food is great, I think I prefer Indian these days. Chinese just doesnt feel exotic anymore.

PAJJ 06-03-2006 12:40 PM

I get the burps after chinese, it's worse because they taste really bad.

I suppose, I've never thought of it like that, still not really an excuse, but i get what you saying, it's just the thing that gets to me, don't know why it's just does, most people have weird things that get to them though.

Squirrel 06-03-2006 12:51 PM

Aye, I know how you mean.

Mr. Black 06-03-2006 01:04 PM

You need to hear (if you haven't already) Dirty Hole, Desert Garden and Flames <3
I've been searching the internet for their live set in Seattle but I can't find it anywhere. I know it exists because this guy I talk to from Mexico has it, but he won't send me it

2muchket! 06-03-2006 01:35 PM

PAJJ:

I kinda agree about the whole football thing.

"We're gonna win the world cup!"
"why?"
"Cause england is the best".

I usually cheer for the team which i think has the lowest value of players or the lowest GDP of country.

/takes out calculator

By my calculations you should cheer for either ghana or the Ivory Coast. And england fans are the most pessimistic of all football supporters as in the past we've believed the hype ..... anad then been defeated usually on penalty's :(.

Jev 06-03-2006 02:36 PM

Pessimistic?
Don't you mean optimistic?

Mexican Bandito 06-03-2006 03:05 PM

So I'm not going out anymore. I phoned my friend and he's 7 miles away looking after another friend that is passed out infront of the cinema. And they wouldn't be getting through here until about 11ish.
Screw that!

FVG27 06-03-2006 03:19 PM

Sucks :( I haven't actually left the house in 4 days. I'm starting to go insane.

Mexican Bandito 06-03-2006 03:22 PM

Well apart from going away on Tuesday for the night, I've not been out with friends in over a fortnight. I'm a saddo...

Untitled 06-03-2006 03:25 PM

Ive not left the house since tuesday actully.

House bound doing revision.

Work tomorrow though so i can go out and spend 10 hours in a building i dont wanna be in, doing things i dont wanna do, when i realy need to revise.

But at least im geting close to £8 an hour.

FVG27 06-03-2006 03:26 PM

Aww that must really suck *hugs*. I should revise for my exams considering I haven't left the house but I'm really struggling to concentrate. Now I'm starting to panic and I'm worrying I'm gonna let people down. My sister got 3 A*s, 7 A's and 1 C. How do I live up to that? :upset:

Untitled 06-03-2006 03:32 PM

4a* 7as? :p

i hate revision i realy cannot be arsed. Im the same, i have wrote 3 lines all day, and now im worrying because i cant do much tomorrow, and my exams is on monday.

At least its only Alevel, i dont realy have many compared to GCSE, i have like 10 exams over 3 subjects, 2 are resits though which shouldnt be to bad.

Mexican Bandito 06-03-2006 03:34 PM

You guys seem to have a hell of alot of exams to do.

When I was 16 I had 8 exams and then last year I only had 4 :-/
And if I'd stayed on this year, I'd only have had 3!

Do you mean 3 papers or 3 subjects?

because, i do 2 subject, graphics i dont have an exam, well i do but i done it already. But in each subject there is 3 papers each of them, and then i have general studies, which has 3 papers, so a total of 9. But only 3 subjects.

Mexican Bandito 06-03-2006 03:38 PM

Just this year?
Holy fuck

Mexican Bandito 06-03-2006 03:39 PM

3 Subjects.
But each subject only has one end exam (the subjects I was taking anyway - music, drama and art have more)

Ah right. Well in Art theres a 15 hour exam, and i guess the rest is all practical so i should imagine there isnt many writen papers.

I just heard thunder too

Mexican Bandito 06-03-2006 03:46 PM

I know that for Higher art it's a 2 hour written exam and then a practical. I don't think Advanced Higher has an actual exam - it's just your portfolio that gets sent away.

I can smell poo :( there are loads of farms nearby. I reckon they have been spraying the fields.

FVG27 06-03-2006 03:47 PM

Oh wow I'm looking forward to college.

pfft

Ah right, at my college the whole art dept, like textiles, graphics everything. We did a 5 hour practical the first year, and 15 hour this year.

I actully realy enjoyed them exams.
