Distant Echoes 03-14-2005 04:06 PM

Do you mean they already toured last summer, or their touring this summer

This waouldnt be such a problem if i actually got the emails i subscribed too

jpj 03-14-2005 04:07 PM

They toured last summer. They may tour again though.

JonG 03-14-2005 04:10 PM

Rolling Stones will definately be touring, and so will AC/DC, I saw it on TV. I also read about Led Zeppelin re-touring with Bonzo's kid, Jason..

That rumor about Zeppelin has been going around for quite awhile, I wouldn't take it seriously.

Yea, for like 20 years. It's not going to happen.

thickasabrick 03-14-2005 04:18 PM

I'd rather drive and see a good festival, then wait for a decent band to come here. No one ever comes here.

Distant Echoes 03-14-2005 04:23 PM

Their has to be an easier way to find out when bands are touring rather then browsing the internet frequently to find out only by rumours.

And ticketmaster defintaly doesnt send you emails for the bands i checked off  There should be some kind of thread or way on these boards of up and coming tours

jpj 03-14-2005 04:36 PM

I sign up to the band's website. I've gotten frequent updates from The Allmans, Gov't Mule, moe., and a few others.

def been going around too long with nothing actually happening. To find out about tours I just randomly search some of my favorite active bands on ticketmaster.

Anyways I wish I could go to the Cream reunion. Alas I don't live in England

most definitly ... i am such a big fan of Cream and Clapton but same w/ me ... i live in N. America.... lol.... i would probably say Cream was maybe the first psychadelic rock group... but it depends who came first... the Jimi Hendrix Expierence or Cream... even tho i think Cream came first i don't remember...
Are you new around here? Or just a new name?

You may find that no one is gonna hassle you for getting slightly off topic in here. Especially if you talk about things that relate closely to classic rock (such as drugs).

If you are new....welcome to the Classic Rock thread. First good n00b we've had in a while.
Thanks, I'm new around here.

I posted something before about the Zep reunion tour, I don't think it will happen but you never know. As for the Stones, I wouldn't be suprised if Keith played guitar along side an iron lung or a portable dialysis machine. A Stones tour would be kickass, though.

B0nz0 03-14-2005 05:25 PM

o by the way, guys, for those of u guys who have been here long enough to remember me, i'm back again. thanks to everyone for keeping my little thread alive!

anyways, i just got the last waltz (the band's final concert) on dvd and all i can say is WOW. The Band with ppl like paul butterfield, eric clapton, bob dylan, neil young, doctor john, muddy waters, joni mitchell, van morrison, and more. AND produced my martin scorcese, so the sound and picture was amazing. I give it 5 stars (out of 4). God I love the band... too bad they don't tour anymore...

Walrus Gumboot 03-14-2005 05:31 PM

Its.. THE CREATOR! :D

I was just thinking what a good music scene University of Vermont must have. Does it? It may be a possibility for college in a while...

B0nz0's BACK!!!!!

RNR and Badmoon have to show up, and DVG, Keep on Phishin', god damn it all the regulars.

That The Band DVD sounds really cool.

Oh, and if you didn't get a Cream ticket, start looking on eBay. I read that it took under 2 hours to sell out 4 nights.

Crazy huh?

The Pit was really spammy last night, so I decided to join in the fun. Made a thread called "Last One to Post in this thread will get banned" to make fun of Joshmays "first one to post in this thread will get banned" thread.

Turns out he closed it before anyone can respond.

It's just a one day ban though according to Bartender.
