Wow, that was the most amazing thing I've ever heard. EVER. Will you sign my ***?
..Really? Glad to hear it, sarcasm boy.

I'd rather sign your breasts.

Jom 10-04-2005 08:34 PM

That's a shame about DSL, but then again, at least your little gimmick will remain intact around these parts, heh :)

NP: Blue Man Group \m/

Kurtz 10-04-2005 09:53 PM

Jake, that was pretty good. What program/machines did you use for it?

///

Is this version of AIM any good? I've been interested in it, but I really like the version I have now and I don't want to screw everything up if I switch to that new on and miss the one I have now.

NP: Fall Out Boy - Sugar, We're Going Down

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-04-2005 10:11 PM

Fruity Loops Version 3.0.

I tried downloading that version, but AIM has something against my computer. It will download the file, but when I try to install it by double clicking, it gives me some nasty message. I guess I'm stuck with Trillian. :p

Screw gimmicks, I just want to download music at a respectable rate!

Admitedly I do have to wait three hours after that for certain peopl to go into town, but I can put that time to good use.

Bartender 10-05-2005 05:14 AM

Good morrow to thee MX, on this, my day off.

I'm bored. Have to read Locke.

NP Tom Petty - Mary Jane's Last Dance

Bartender 10-05-2005 06:01 AM

Got up around 11, actually. The intervening time was spent asking the girl at the front desk if I could check my mail, and when I might actually get my own post box key.
We're starting Locke next week. I'm not looking forward to it.

NP: Franz Ferdinand - Fallen
I really don't know if I can be bothered. I know I should, because it needs to be done by Monday and it's my day off and so my best chance of getting a decent amount done (and not having to do it all at the weekend), but I feel like I've just finished Hobbes and really don't want to start another old, long-winded treatise on politics.
Have you found ot her name yet?

I still have to check my mail. Last time I tried the guy I spoke too didn't really understand english so it went horribly wrong and I've been too scared to go back since :upset:

NP: Arsis - Face of my Innocence
Nope, all of the people who work at the desk are still just identified by physical characteristics/nicknames as far as I'm concerned. The one I talked to today was The Scottish One. She's pretty cool, though I think she's getting sick of having to open my post box for me.

Gimme some feedback, and I'll be very repGracious to you in the future. :)

In other news, today was bland. I found out that my dad is all pissed about getting DSL, so it probably won't even happen any more. wtf@my rents!

i hate techno, but it wasn't bad for techno.
it is spacey as anything i've ever heard... but since i don't like techno i can't really give a good opinion.

i am the robots 10-05-2005 06:53 AM

Don't hate a specific genre, hate artists, otherwise you aren't really listening for the music.

Axe 10-05-2005 06:55 AM
Don't hate a specific genre, hate artists, otherwise you aren't really listening for the music.
i just can't stand that type of music, it's all too generic. i like electronica, which is different to techno :)

i am the robots 10-05-2005 07:16 AM

Not all of it is generic, some of it is quite good, and isn't electronica just a broad term for electronic music?

Axe 10-05-2005 07:26 AM
Not all of it is generic, some of it is quite good, and isn't electronica just a broad term for electronic music?
no, electronic is a broad term for electronic music, electronica
is spacier and more laid back. :)

i just wrote an article for a magazine in dublin.

Shattered_Future 10-05-2005 10:12 AM

He does his job quite well though...

NP: Into Eternity - Beginning Of The End

I bought this, along with SYL - For Those Aboot To Rock last night. Every moment i listen to Into Eternity makes me madder that they're supporting Opeth along with Nevermore at a show that's 18+ only.

For Those Aboot To Rock is beastly though. Its only like an hour long, but the whole band is just BEASTLY. Hoglan is quite possibly one of the most brilliant drummers around today, and Townsend...how does he talk the next morning? He's unbelievably weird as well...

Shred Danson 10-05-2005 11:48 AM

 yeah, Townsend is pretty weird live. I'll never forget Sounds of The Underground...*shudders* hahaha...

Into Eternity are one of those bands that don't get the attention they deserve, they're just so goddamn great.
