I bought Silent Hill 1 this last week. I've been looking for this game for a long time, but a lot of gaming stores dont sell PS1 games.

I didnt realize that game was 10 years old.

Hello everybody. I'm actually tired! This is not good. Not good at all.

I need to beat that! I just stop playing. I was really close. I just killed Cybil at the ammusment park. That was a hard boss!

Understanding In a Crash 07-31-2005 09:32 PM

Silent Hill 4 is pretty sick.

TMA 07-31-2005 09:33 PM

Ok, so... anybody that's ever played Emogame...
In version 2.0, how the hell do I unlock Claudio Sanchez of Coheed And Cambria?! This is driving me insane.

Never played it.

Resident Evil > Silent Hill
Family parties suck.
I went to my cousin's family graduation party a few weeks ago.

It was a lot of fun. My relatives are halarious, and good cooks.

thomas is fast 07-31-2005 09:42 PM

I always end up getting drunk at family reunions. It's fun. I like my cousins.

Understanding In a Crash 07-31-2005 09:44 PM

Resident Evil > Silent Hill
Gameplay wise Resident Evil > Silent Hill

Storyline wise Silent Hill > Resident Evil

I always believed the Resident Evil storylines were written by a teenager angst trying to add nice twists but ending cliche.

Resident Evil 4 had a fantastic storyline though.

Yeah it did. I wanted to shoot that annoying girl sometimes. I did not mind of the monks took her away.

MattSharpIsCool 07-31-2005 09:49 PM

I never actually got too far in Silent Hill 1, because I was only able to rent it for 4 days. I got into the evil school somewhere.

And sure, if mindless zombie killing is your thing, than Resident Evil is an awesome game. It is fun. But I definitly prefer Silent Hill. It actually takes some thought and skill.

Understanding In a Crash 07-31-2005 09:49 PM

To be honest the Resident Evil 4 Leon dude and the Silent Hill 4 Henry guy look the same in some ways.

Those villagers taking like 8 shots to die though...

The only thing that really cracked me off was the corny Silent Hill weaponary. Like lets beat up ghosts with lead pipes and papercutters!

I always liked Resident Evils weaponary except I thought having no melee weapons isn't always cool.

If you aimed for the head, it worked spendidly. Untill those parasite things started coming out anyway.

I really enjoyed the bosses in RE4. They took some fucking skill.

They usually offer me alcohol.

I always decline. Get me a root beer over a beer. Any day.

The only boss I ever had trouble was that big cave man gargoyle thing that you would need to stab repeatingly when it fell to the floor.

Even if you shot a villager in the face he'd make it seem like he got punched in the nose or something. That Iron Claw dude was my favorite character in the game.

Well you play a police officer of sorts in Resident Evil, right? Of course they're going to have more advanced weaponry than just some average guy.

Understanding In a Crash 07-31-2005 10:03 PM

Not every RE started as a police officer...

Understanding In a Crash 07-31-2005 10:04 PM

I thought when they added the defense mechs to the remake of the original RE on the gamecube it was cool how you could tazer or stab a zombie in the face without getting man boobs eatten off.

You would have to like shoot them three times, then get them in the face.

My favorite part in the game is when you were with that crazy Spanish guy and they like surrounded the cabin. That was bad ***.

Anybody know a real good Rom site for N64 roms besides emuparidise.org? I'm trying to get Conkers Bad Fur Day and it goes so slow off that site.

Understanding In a Crash 07-31-2005 10:08 PM

Oh yeah that was crazy shit. That dude had one of the coolest weapons in the game but it was no near worth having a pistol of that size in your inventory. God I remember saving that spot in the game just to play it over, it was sick.

thomas is fast 07-31-2005 10:08 PM
....I think I found a DS emulator and roms :amaze:

I have yet to try it out though.

No way. That would be bad ***. Can I have the link?

Thanks man! That site kicks ass. I'm downloading Conkers Bad Fur Day and it's going somewhat fast. Is the DS emulator working for you now?

No, it was a faulty emu.

I'm going to try the stuff posted on http://www.emuwizards.com/.

Tomorrow though, tonight, it's probably about time for some pron. (Yup, oversized shrimp)

Understanding In a Crash 07-31-2005 10:34 PM

I never understood how anyone could jerk it under the sheets.

Vaya 07-31-2005 10:35 PM

yum. i had some today.

BridgeToSolace 07-31-2005 10:36 PM
I never understood how anyone could jerk it under the sheets.
What the ****?

It's not hard to jerk in your pants (without that hands in the pants), but I wouldn't soil my bedsheets.

I sleep there.
