Glasses aren't the end of the world.

Malcolm X wore glasses and he was cool.

If you don't want to wear glasses just get contacts. I actually think I look better with glasses, and contacts seem like a hassle, so I stick with my glasses.

Everyone is telling me not to get contacts. I've got nothing against glasses, but throughout my life I was finally convinced that I'd never need them (I'm the only one in the family who doesn'y), and now that they're telling me I do the impact is highly amplified.

Yeah, I recently had to go through the glasses thing, I never wear them anyway, as I only need them for reading things a distance(relatively short) away.

I need to have them for when I get driving lessons.

Agreed. When someone first get's glasses, you just hear "Woa, you got glasses!" for a few weeks, then nobody cares anymore. I don't see a problem with them myself.

I have a stigmatism in one eye but I wear contacts, and my vision is absolutely horrible. I can't see my hand infront of my face.

My girlfriend went to the doctor and she needs glasses for class or driving.

I have amazingly avoided having to get glasses, considering that I spend too much time on the computer for my own good :-\

I still don't think there's anything wrong with them, though.

You've probably heard my opinion on it already, but I thought their first one was better. The solos were great, but the songwriting was only so-so.

I was into a lot of Emperor and Darkthrone a few weeks ago, but now I'm more in a power metal phase, mainly Iced Earth.

Lately it's been death metal for me. I've been listening to Vital Remains (new album is AMAZING) and Behemoth, who has become one of my all-time favorite bands. Behemoth has done both death metal and black metal incredibly well.

Demigod. It's a pretty popular album now. It takes a while to get used to Nergal's voice, but once you do the music is amazing.

But if it's black metal you're looking for, check out Sventevith. Grom and Svent are both excellent records, but Svent is a little more on the traditional side.

Man, I really recommend for black metal to check Sventvith, its a great album. And for death to check their two latest albums. Demigod and Zos Kvia Kvltvs.

I think I heard the second song off of Demigod and it had some insane drumming. I should check that **** out.

Definitely. Zos Kia Cultus is usually considered second best after Demigod (in their death metal days) but I prefer Satanica.
