Part Chimp- I Am Come
http://www.last.fm/music/Part+Chimp YDload, samariah and bukowski would like this band.
this is pretty neat. though i dont understand why you'd like this but not Polvo. this first song is basically what Polvo does (poppy, more accessible stuff interrupted by blasts of anger) |
The Polvo ep sounded like a bunch of college freshmen trying to sound like Sonic Youth. I'm getting Today's Active Lifestyles and I imagine it doesn't sound like that if you guys keep saying its so good.
|
no thats exactly what they sound like. but they get better at it.
|
I hate the singer.
Man Man - Rabbit Habits
More awesome Man Man.
I'd probably like that album a lot more if I'd never heard their first two. It's still pretty decent. I'm going to their record release show with the Dirty Projectors on Tuesday. It's gonna be so good. |
Part Chimp- I Am Come
http://www.last.fm/music/Part+Chimp YDload, samariah and bukowski would like this band.
indeed, that is a good album. They're excellent live as well. Polvo are an excellent band. I love the strange, noisy guitars...Todays Active Lifestyles is such an excellent mish-mash of winding, dissonant guitar lines. Excellent lyrics as well, when you can make them out. It's got a very "otherworldy" vibe to me. Maybe not to your taste though, Anxious. Mudhoney - Superfuzz Bigmuff I don't dislike this or anything, but it'll always be merely an OK album to me. |
Les Savy Fav - Lets Stay Friends
indeed, that is a good album. They're excellent live as well.
