this is pretty neat. though i dont understand why you'd like this but not Polvo. this first song is basically what Polvo does (poppy, more accessible stuff interrupted by blasts of anger)

The Polvo ep sounded like a bunch of college freshmen trying to sound like Sonic Youth. I'm getting [I]Today's Active Lifestyles[/I] and I imagine it doesn't sound like that if you guys keep saying its so good.

I'd probably like that album a lot more if I'd never heard their first two. It's still pretty decent.

indeed, that is a good album. They're excellent live as well.

Polvo are an excellent band. I love the strange, noisy guitars...[I]Todays Active Lifestyles[/I] is such an excellent mish-mash of winding, dissonant guitar lines. Excellent lyrics as well, when you can make them out. It's got a very "otherworldy" vibe to me. Maybe not to your taste though, Anxious.
