Metal Guitar killed the thread.
In other news I just picked up these cds- Trivium - Ember to Inferno Shadows Fall - Of One Blood Unearth - The Strings of Conscience They are all good, but none of them are as good as their later releases. |
Which is the newest Unearth album? I liked that one.
|
I just remembered who Trivium was yesterday when I saw a video. I was impressed like a year ago on Headbangers Ball but I didn't catch the name. I have heard songs after that and started downloading them. Yesterday I was on myspace and saw another video for them and remembered who it was. Anyway yeah.
Shadow's Fall's new stuff is better in my opinion. |
Yeah but Lead Me Home is one of the best instrumentals ever.
The latest Unearth is The Oncoming Storm |
Yeah but Lead Me Home is one of the best instrumentals ever.
That is an awesome insturmental I must say as well. I am going to see Shadows Fall, Trivium, Mudvayne, In Flames and Ill Nino today, hurrah. And I am leaving when Disturbed hits the stage because they do not deserve to be headlining. /hasn't been to a concert in over 6 months |
trivium are a good band, surprisingly...
they played an excellent half-hour at download |

And yeah Shadows Fall's new cd "The War Within" is incredible. Its whats playing on my Ipod recently. I love it. Unearths newest cd, my favorite, "The Oncoming Storm" is also incredible. Check out Zombie Autopilot, Black Hearts Now Reign, This Lying World, or The Great Dividers.
That is an awesome insturmental I must say as well. They are the least talented(I dont know anything about Ill Nino though) and most generic band on the bill by far. Thats ridiculous. |
Only thing I don't like about Shadows Fall is Brians monotoneus yell.
If you want to hear the best new American band go to my Nevermore thread. |

And yes, that is an understatement. I have also already seen Disturbed twice before, and they are nothing great... |
Well that's what I meant by new. They started in 91 but they've finally started to rise up among these other metal bands. Also I'm not a huge fan of Disturbed but David Draiman is an excellent vocalist.

You're getting pressured from an internet forum. Did you know that CemetaryGates is back? |

Did you know that CemetaryGates is back?
Haha really, under what username? |
He's under GaggingOrder. Did he really call you? How did he get your number?
|
What?? Oh jeez. Someone call the Swiss Guard. :(
I'll protect you :) I'm on my lunch break from work. |

Thats so wierd because I always had a funny feeling about that guy. Especially the way he posted how nobody likes him and all that. It makes so much sense now.
I was out with my boyfriend, and I left an AIM away message on saying, "out" and had my cell phone number. I've put my cell number in my away message HUNDREDS of times without stupid people calling. But then I got this weird number, answered it, and it was him.
Im not trying to say what he did was okay, because it wasnt it was awful. But if you are going to leave your cell phone number out to the public, then you should be ready for calls like that. |
I had a bad feeling about him too. What did he say when you picked up?

Also, my birthday is tomorrow. Hurray. |

Yeah but there are those few, like CG9 that do call you, and if she never put that number up it wouldnt have happened. |
 :jealous: I don't get how Disturbed are headlining. I mean, I know they have a new album out, but oh well. Ill Nino put on a good live show from reports I've read, but their music (on the albums, anyway) are average-good, depending on the songs. They have a new song out which sounds like it's some of the best material they've written, but that isn't saying much. I do have to give Disturbed credit for covering Genesis' "Land of Confusion" on Ten-Thousand Fists. Draiman sounds almost exactly, dead-nuts like Phil Collins in the intro. And Donnegan is a good guitarist. I can upload the track, if you'd like. oic, no one cares :p I don't think I need to talk about how good Shadows Fall and Trivium are, and I won't talk about Mudvayne because of the whole one-of-my-favorite-bands thing, heh. And I'd like to hear In Flames play their new stuff. I feel like one of the only people in the world who likes stuff from STYE and RtR. $.02 |
Completely, Utterly Random Thing I Have To Say Everytime Phil Collins Is Mentioned: At the "Snow Game" (aka "The Tuck Game"), when the refs were reviewing Brady's fumble to see if he brought the ball to his body, "In The Air Tonight" was playing over the PA.
Whenever I hear about Phil Collins, I always instinctively think of that. |

One Mic is like the only song any body I talk to knows by Nas. I'm like "you freakin' retards"
|
I like One Love better.
Do you really say "freakin' retards"? |
