Anyone want some samples of Mountain?
I might add Felix Pappalardi to my guitarist list.
Felix Pappalardi played bass. Leslie West was the guitarist of Mountain, aswell as the lead singer. |
As he should :thumb:
Yes but I always thought R&M was a little ignoriant towards blues. I wish John Lee Hooker got more votes. :( Its closing in about 24 hours so if you guys have any edits to make do it now. |

I need some Canned Heat. Any suggestions on a album?
|
Boogie with Canned Heat, my friend really likes it.
|
So who do you think will be most popular-- A Metal Gutarist or a Rock one?
|
A rock one, although this forum is mostly metalheads.

Yeah I don't think many people would have the balls to say any metal guitarist was better than Jimi.. It's sort of accepted, kinda like how George Washingon is consdidered to be a good president without any debate |
/me votes

Washingon < Lincoln |
By today's standards Hendrix is just "good" not great. But everybody's going to vote for him anyways. I certainly did.
|
Am I gay for thinking "Dannys Song" is extremely catchy?

Felix Pappalardi is still the coolest name ever.
|
Yes. Ever since last week I thought Andalucia would be a really cool name. I think I will make it my new middle name
Amanda Andalucia nice. |
Am I gay for thinking Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da is SUPER catchy?
|
I don't think so but I really wouldn't know.
I used to love it but then I kinda got sick of it |
Badmoon and I are the only ones around here who whore bands. Wtf?
What do you whore? |
Am I gay for thinking Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da is SUPER catchy?
I never really liked the song, so many people I know hate the Beatles because they have only heard that song, so when I try to tell them that the White Album is the unquistioned lord and master of classic rock they see it on there and think I'm talking out of my ass |

Yeah, that's true. You listen to him playing live and he sounds incredibly sloppy and doesn't play half as fast as guys like Vai or Petrucci, but he has a good vibe and he wore tie-dye bandanas - that's good enough for me. |

He deserves to be in at least the top three. It pisses me off when people say hes overrated. I think hes overrated to the point where he overshadows some really awsome guitarists (Clapton, SRV, McLaughlin). But I feel he deserves every bit of credit he gets. |
