Basically it's the only "real" live cd you can get of theirs. The sound quality surpasses any bootleg you'll get, and the versions of Pu**** and 3rd Eye are amazing.

I almost prefer the enigma attitude. If I ever became a high-profile person such as a member of Tool, I'd rather keep people wondering.

Me and MJK have something in common though; people really misconcieve us for being really concieted and kind of arse-holeish when really we only appear that way.

I don't really understand where that comes from. For as long as they've been around, I think it's admirable how consistant they've remained with their philosophies. In the last 10 years I've been listening to them, they haven't become more "Here we are!" or begun marketing themselves more. Sure, merchendise is availible, but it's not on the front of your Best Buy flyer, you've got to find it yourself. If anything they've only become more engrossed in them, the metaphysical stuff, the anonymous stuff. If the business side of them overshadowed their music, then sure, but it hasn't. The whole idea of their music is to help people gain understanding of life, as a musician you want that to be accessible to the masses. As a business you can do it. I'm glad they choose to put their music before their stardom.

I was just listening to a radio interview with Maynard and Danny on Triple JJJ in Australia, seems like they weren't happy with the leak. The intense security was mindboggling. Makes you think how high up the leak came from.

Most of what I download is around 320KBPS/VBR as well.
I have my iPod rigged to my stereo and never listen to CDs unless in the car. (rare)
If I rip an album, I rip at 192 or 200ish most of the time. So if I'm just going to rip at that bit rate and never listen to the actual disc, why does it matter?
