It looks cool.
Why? I'd take that as an insult.
Because she thinks it would make me cooler. Meh |
I loved the book so I hoped the film would be equally good, but it didn't deliver.
And the kid who plays Roger is real funny-looking. |
You didn't know they stripped it down because of the Catholic Church?
|
I don't remember much anti-christian happenings in the book that they left out of the film. That was all in the next two.
|
Pfft, people will go out of their way to find anti-religious messages in their cereal these days.

Eh, these days the world is a lot more anti-christian than pro-christian. |
Excluding America.
|
Are you kidding me? All you need to do is look at our legal and educational systems, and the fact that people are freaking out about Mike Huckabee's "Merry Christmas" add to see that America is leaning towards a strong anti-christian consensus. If that weren't true, Creationism would be taught alongside Evolution in Science classes and I could say "Merry Christmas" without an atheist getting sand in their vag. No offense to any atheists here, but ****.

woo texas bible belt represent
edit: i am atheist and i say merry christmas all the time D: |
"Merry Christmas" add to see that America is leaning towards a strong anti-christian consensus.
...No, there's controversy over it because it's not PC. |
woo texas bible belt represent
...No, there's controversy over it because it's not PC.
Because there happen to be messages of faith in the ad? Who cares? It's not a political ad, it's just him saying "Merry Christmas" to the country, **** political correctness. |
You do realize those are voluntary actions by private corporations who want to appeal to everyone and not just Christians.

The likes of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell churning out lawyers trained to distort a secular gov't into a theocracy. They want to constitutional amend Gay marriage. Roe V.
Oh my god this video is ****ing hilarious http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na0mYSFPoCU&NR=1 |
Oh Christmas.
That time of year my brothers and sisters pretend to like me for the sake of my parents. |

That time of year when my siblings pretend to like me so they get presents
|
I get along really well with all my siblings. We're close, actually, especially my brother and I.
|
I get along with my sister well enough. she doesn't say much though.
|
I get along well with my non-existent brothers and sisters.
Yet we have an evangelist in office.
Not for long.
The likes of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell churning out lawyers trained to distort a secular gov't into a theocracy.
Why not take "In God We Trust" off our money then?
They want to constitutional amend Gay marriage.
So?
Roe V. Wade is in danger.
Ummm...SO?
83% of America is Christian. 3% are non religious, agnostic, or atheist.
Yet it's always that small minority that causes the uproar over faith-based ideals in our country.
They very fact creationism is still trying to be taught in schools show how religious this country is.
Yet when you bring up creationism, Scientists get extremely butthurt and turn to Darwin, who only brought up said theory because his daughter died and he couldn't handle the fact that people DIE. I'm sorry but if 83% of this country really WAS Christian, there's no chance in Hell that evolution would be taught in our schools. 83% of this country may claim Christianity, but these days that's just a "Get Out of Hell for free" card.
That time of year my brothers and sisters pretend to like me for the sake of my parents.
Ain't that the damn truth  |
Don't worry guys, once you grow up you'll like your family without pretending
edit: late. |
I get along with 1 of my 2 brothers one out of 7 days, and the other for the most part.

America is supposed to avoid tyranny of the majority. Regardless of the motivation it's good science. |
I get along with my sister well enough. she doesn't say much though.
Probably because she's a paraplegic. |
Not for long.

Why not take "In God We Trust" off our money then?
Its not the Christian god being referred to on currency.
So?
Its sign the christian ethics are seeping into gov't
Ummm...SO?
Same as above
Yet it's always that small minority that causes the uproar over faith-based ideals in our country.
And people who are empathetic towards others.
Yet when you bring up creationism, Scientists get extremely butthurt and turn to Darwin, who only brought up said theory because his daughter died and he couldn't handle the fact that people DIE.
What are talking about? Evolution is tied extremely closed to death. If anything he would have converted because of the prospect of heaven and seeing his daughter again.
I'm sorry but if 83% of this country really WAS Christian, there's no chance in Hell that evolution would be taught in our schools. 83% of this country may claim Christianity, but these days that's just a "Get Out of Hell for free" card.
Not all 83% are crazy. What does the second part have to do with anything? Look at Europe and other liberal nations, religion is not a problem. It is separate from public life. Or Nation was founded upon the idea the religion is private and would remain pure separate from gov't and public life. |
pretty sure anyone that is in any way offended by "merry christmas" is a ****ing tool
