Okay, so...

I went to the bookstore to buy some guitar books because a) I fuc[size=2]king suck at guitar, and 2) I had some money to burn.

I bought a scales book by Adam Kadmon (the author of the world famous Guitar Grimoire Series is the full title, but I think that's irreleveant) and Rock Guitar for Dummies. No joke.

I was looking through the scales book, and it's in x/8 time, and I don't think I can make a lot of the reaches in some of the scales very quickly. Yeah, yeah, I know, practice... but oh dear, is this intimidating.

Any practice advice for someone who sucks?[/size]

AH, I just signed up for lessons at Guitar Center. Maybe that would help you. It costs 22 bucks for a half hour lesson, which is kind of expensive, but I hear that you learn a lot.

Not much. Been quite ill today actually, so I missed my Jesus lecture this morning. Forced myself to go in for PolPhil though, which was cool.

Watched the first 4 episodes of the X-Files this afternoon. That was a good show. I got into it too late though, so I'm starting again from the beginning.

I have another two in for Friday, both of which are for teachers who are a lot more strict about deadlines...

I'm screwed really. I have to fit those, a maths paper, and a haircut in after school this week.
