Lately I've been digging Electrelane and Panda Bear really hard. Hi. I'm Joe. I post in punk and don't really listen to any punk bands anymore, save a few.
where in PA do you live |
hopefully not near you.
faggot. |

he's full of spunk

anyway Yo La Tengo's song "We're An American Band" is really cool, especially when i figured out that it wasnt a Grand Funk Railroad cover. i even learned it on bass because those are some sweet notes
|
i like that single "Sick Sick Sick," its so fucking sleazy. and Homme's tone is as distinctive as ever, thick and powerful like a nitro-fueled garbage truck
That's exactly what I love about that song. It's great.
The Lemonheads - It's A Shame About Ray
Niiiiiiiiice. Gentle Ben & His Sensitive Side - The Beginning of the End SixFtHick - Canetrash Both really great bands from Brisbane, featuring a common vocalist. Anyone who digs Nick Cave a little bit should check out Gentle Ben immediately. |
Joe Jackson - Look Sharp!
Fuckin' radical! |

Syd Barret-Melk Weg
Bootleg I found on some blog. I love it to death. Syd Barret classics plus unreleased songs. And the best part is the lo-fi ness of it makes it sound like early GBV. |

Southeast. Philadelphia suburbs, like 45 minutes from the city. Closest recognizable town to people who live anywhere near me is generally Quakertown. I'm closer to Allentown than Philly. |
