Gah, i REALLY want it to be my birthday. I want vault hats and a new snare stand so i can use my old snare/stand as an aux snare. It's going to be sweet. It would be nice to get another crash, but that would be pushing it upwards of $400 which might be a little much. And if i ask for all of that, my dad might not get me exactly what i want which would be awkward if i wanted to take it back and get what i wanted.

well the party yesterday was extremely lame. i didn't get id'd when i bought all our liquor (yay for beards), and then we went and pre-drank at my friends. we finally went over there, and they were all watching a madonna concert on tv. there was like 20 people there, about 5 of whom were drunk. so after around half an hour, we left, and as we were walking down the street, a group of 8 of our friends were coming down the street to go to her house. so we turned around and went back. repeat this scenario 4 or 5 more times. i ended up staying there until 3 a.m. somehow.

so me and my friend "schemed" about the kind of band me and him wanna start. we wanna meet somewhere inbetween the mars volta and anti-flag. everything inbetween. the only problem is, he hasn't been practicing for a while, so that's his goal for the next little while. hopefully this one will turn out well.

Homework is a load of crap.
Teachers don't actually check your work, and I still get the same grades on tests whether I do it or not. Then again, I'm an awesome test taker. And when it's a subject I suck at, I cheat.

haha my old english teacher was terrible. she lost everything you handed into her, and she never even marked half of it.

my friend's sister had her last year, and decided to test out the teacher. first, she handed in the exact same essay as her friend, who the teacher liked. the friend got 86%, my friend's sister got 53%. on the exact same essay.

so then she tried something else out, before bringing up the previous discrepancy to the principal or anyone.

she wrote an essay with a topic sentence and a concluding sentence, and filled the rest with "this is an essay this is an essay this is an essay" and got her friend to do the same. the friend got 94% on this one, and the sister got 66%.

she brought it up to the principal, and the teacher was gone for 2 months. she's back now, unfortunately.
