Looks like I'm stuck at home, bored to tears. Good old MX.

Sorry to hear that. At least you have us!

:amaze:

ridethelightning 11-29-2004 09:21 PM

so, what are the 5 greatest albums every musician should own?

Rollo47 11-29-2004 09:25 PM

The Eagles - Hotel California

ridethelightning 11-29-2004 09:28 PM

, 5 albums...... the greatest 5....

Rollo47 11-29-2004 09:29 PM
Sorry to hear that. At least you have us!

:amaze:
That's right. Might just stay home and get my post count up today.

Spaceman Spiff 11-29-2004 09:30 PM
so, what are the 5 greatest albums every musician should own?
it all depends on the musician.
people who love the sound of bass will say bass-heavy albums/virtuoso albums, people who love guitar will do the same saying Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen, those sorts of guys.

well, if you want great musicians, Mr. Bungle - California.

Rollo47 11-29-2004 09:31 PM
, 5 albums...... the greatest 5....
Dude, do you know how impossible it is to name the five greatest albums ever?

All I know is that Dark Side of the Moon, Hotel California, something by the Rolling Stones, and something by Beatles (I'm not a fan of either of these bands, so I don't know which albums are good) should be included.

Crapdragoon 11-29-2004 09:34 PM

i uh , seem to have missplaced my pants

Spaceman Spiff 11-29-2004 09:34 PM

Wish You Were Here might be better than Dark Side Of The Moon, but both are great. Animals is also a fantastic album.

ridethelightning 11-29-2004 09:34 PM

yea, the greatest albums of all time.
id have DSOTM for sure. then i dnno, maybe something by zepplin

Rollo47 11-29-2004 09:37 PM
Wish You Were Here might be better than Dark Side Of The Moon, but both are great. Animals is also a fantastic album.
That's debatable, but I'd imagine you'd find the majority of people like Dark Side of the Moon better.

Crapdragoon 11-29-2004 09:37 PM

So i go to play halo 2 today, and alll i can say is, i am dissapointed with all the hype it got , put then again i would of figured a FPS to suck on console like the rest, on the other hand, i played half life 2 on my brothers computer, ohhh man with everything maxed out (graphic wise) it looks so beautiful.

ridethelightning 11-29-2004 09:39 PM

cool, ive never played any halo

:amaze: 11-29-2004 09:39 PM

I feel the exact same way. I knew Halo 2 wouldn't be as good as everyone hyped it up to be.

Spaceman Spiff 11-29-2004 09:42 PM
That's debatable, but I'd imagine you'd find the majority of people like Dark Side of the Moon better.
yeah, it's really all just a matter of opinion.

Rollo47 11-29-2004 09:42 PM

Meh, I was never really a fan of Halo, so I doubt Halo 2 will be much different.

Rollo47 11-29-2004 09:48 PM

Double post.

This Rolling Stone list of the 500 Greatest Songs of all time is full of crap.

Rollo47 11-29-2004 09:48 PM

Triple post.

The guitarist list is stupid, too.

Spaceman Spiff 11-29-2004 09:49 PM
Double post.

never trust any of those lists in any of those magazines.

edit: i bet Stairway To Heaven is #1. right or wrong?

Rollo47 11-29-2004 09:51 PM

Stairway to Heaven is #17.

EDIT: #31, rather.

Spaceman Spiff 11-29-2004 09:59 PM

wow, as i'm doing my project i am realizing how easy it is because ALL of the information for it is on a single site that i am using.

if only i had done this project 2 months ago when it was assigned instead of the night before it's due...oh well, i am one of the best procrastinators of all time.

Rollo47 11-29-2004 10:07 PM

Ah, Fantastic Noodles. The food of a bored and lonely teenager.

:amaze: 11-29-2004 10:07 PM

Crap. I need to get my project done. I probably won't post any more tonight. So, night MX.

:amaze:

Rollo47 11-29-2004 10:08 PM

Night Luke.

Rollo47 11-29-2004 10:14 PM
