The end of summer. My Uni term begins Sept 19th.

Wow. This is fairly scary. My girlfriend (who lives on 4 acres 30 minutes out of town) told me she has a crazy gunman near, or possibly on, her property... She reckons the police were doing a manhunt around her house and land, and advised them to completely lockdown the entire house.

I made her promise me to close the curtains, and I promised that I would text and call her regularly till I go to bed, to make sure she is still safe. I wish I could drive there to protect her, but the police have blockaded her street. :-/

The good thing is that she lives not 2 mins walk from the cop shop.

Did you see my answer to your question Sam? I am doing Biological Enviromental Chemistry. I usually do about 2 Chemistry, 1 Biology/Zoology and 1 Earth Science subject a semester.

Tha's pretty scary, I hope everything turns out all right. Of course the option is that you could sneak onto her land and catch the crazyman single handedly thus earning yourself the status of hero and a very enjoyable night :)

It's an album by a Japanese Composer person, Kitaro, and features a lot of ehtnic Japanese music blended with a ton of ambient stuff. I thought you may enjoy it so I uploaded it for you.

Let me say its not because of the guts, but how they have all these fancy, well defined drawings of each and every piece in the animals body in text books... then you look at the specimen to find these things... and all you can see is a stomped pie.

haha I've noticed that, not on animals (we dont dissect animals in biology classes) but on plants or bacreria and stuff. I just never got what I was looking at in the microscope

I always had a great interest in history of evolution though. Too bad we didnt do relevant lessons at school. I've watched some documentaries on TV though. Dolphins were wolf like, birds come from dinosaurs (in a way at least), human embryos are similar with the ones of other animals etc...
