that's stupid, for my financial aid i just left my parents off of it because they're not paying shit. if i put my dad on there i'd be fucked

i know. i tried leaving them off of it since i've been out on my own for over 4 years now. They dont claim me as a dependent on their taxes but the school system still thinks im 'dependent' on them somehow.

Now get this, they said that there are 'extenuating' circumstances in which I could file for it under only my financial information. If I was married or had a kid, the person I talked to over the phone basically encouraged me to do one of these things just so I could go to school faster. lol
