Verminous Infester
not really sure what you mean by black metal influence - i don't really hear much black metal in infester, but i haven't heard verminous. here are some recs anyway, of what i think you might want. not sure which ones you have so ill just give a big list: Abhorer - Zygotical Sabbatory Anabapt Grave Miasma - Exalted Emanation Accidental Suicide - Deceased Adversarial - All Idols Fall Before the Hammer Aethyvorous - Demo Blasphereion - Rest in Peace Blaspherian - Allegiance to the Will of Damnation Buried Beneath - The Last Days of the Moon Cruciamentum - Convocation of Crawling Chaos Divine Eve - Upon These Ashes Scorn The World Grave Upheaval - S/t Infinitum Obscure - Internal Dark Force Innumerable Forms - Dark Worship Karnarium - Deity of Opposites Magus - Ruminations of Debauchery Mitochondrion - Archaeaeon Necros Christos - Trivne Impvrity Rites Shub Niggurath - Evilness And Darkness Prevails Thou Shalt Suffer - Into The Woods Of Belial |

Verminous Infester
The Chasm? |
yah the chasm prob would be one, also most typical mexican death metal bands might fit the type
|
I need some death metal fused with power electronics.
|
why
|
just curious if any groups fuse noise with death metal, i've heard it in BM but it could be cool if done right
not really after soft ambient stuff thrown in it's gotta be brutal frequencies like Prurient |
yeah it occurs reasonably frequently in black metal but that's because they share some common ground, whereas i think it would be a lot rarer to find that mixed with death metal
perhaps the closest you could come is extremely low end heavy death metal with muddy production - i've never heard of any purposeful combination of power electronics and death metal |
true, thanks
|
looking for some traditional doom metal like Warning, Reverend Bizarre, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus etc

I'm looking for a band that sounds similar to Misery Signals' Controller album. Anyone know any bands with a good mix of technical riffs, deep lyrics, and melody?

They only have a demo at the moment (it's free on their website), but I've seen it compared to early Warning numerous times, and I have to agree with it. Very promising band imo. |

Hey guys. Know any good post-rock or post-rock influenced bands with a vocalist? (i.e. Moving Mountains, Dredg.) Love the music that groups like Red Sparowes, Pelican, 65daysofstatic, Russian Circles, etc. make but looking for some vocals as well. Thanks guys.
